DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Locations: Fourways, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months

Art Charter is offering an internship opportunity for the position of a trainee broker. During this programme, the candidate will be assigned a mentor who is one of Art Charter’s senior brokers.
The candidate will learn and partake in training programmes, going out on flight reps and witnessing the process leading to the use of commercial jets. Candidates will also learn how to build a book of business to which planes can carry a certain number of passengers and how to successfully administer chartered flights.

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

Building relationships with new clients through networking, managing inquiries, and cold calling
Continuously and actively learning about the type of aircraft that is used at Art Charter ad well as their capacity, range and crewing
Building and managing a strong relationship with suppliers
Managing of charter bookings all from inquiry up to post-flight reports
Watching flights and supervising departures
Partaking in IBOS data management pertaining to CRM system and in-house charter management
Preparing ad-hoc flight duties when required
Ensuring monthly target are met

NetFlorist are looking for ambitious graduates, who have completed a Degree or Diploma, to join their hard working team, in a fast-paced business environment. Candidates must have no previous working experience and be eager to jump into the world of e-commerce.

The Internship programme will afford candidates the following benefits:

Practical on-the-job experience, within an e-commerce environment
Shadowing, mentoring and various other training opportunities
Participation in company events and meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Education requirement: must have completed a Diploma (NQF6) or a Degree (NQF7) qualification in any field
Must have NO previous working experience

Must have your own reliable transport
Willing to take part in a 12 month Internship programme
Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

The Museum holds a number of educational programmes reaching a diversity of audiences which allows them to learn through active engagement and enjoyable experiences.

DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Oliewenhuis Art Museum (as part of the National Museum of Bloemfontein) is offering an internship opportunity for the position of Art Museum Guides. Candidates will be required to interact with visitors on a professional level, interact with different types of people, handle any queries from visitors as well as have adequate knowledge about visual art. During the programme, candidates will also have the responsibility of ensuring that the security and safety of all exhibition artworks are maintained and be required to work intermittent shifts during the week/weekends.

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

Ensuring that all artworks on exhibition are kept safe and secure
Interacting professionally with all visitors and handling any questions they may have regarding Oliewenhuis Art Museum exhibitions (both permanent and temporary)
Conducting Guided Tours that are informative
Providing assistance with exhibitions, general administration tasks, educational workshops, projects and events, activities, and after-hour events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Must be currently studying towards or have completed a Visual Art qualification or equivalent
Must have knowledge/ experience of heritage and visual art (advantageous)
Must have a high command of the English language
Must be able to speak Sotho (advantageous)
Must have exceptional communication skills
Must be outgoing and friendly
Must have excellent public speaking skills
Must be able to physically accompany people
Must be willing to engage in research for exhibitions
Must be enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn
Must have an inquiring mind
Must be interested/ experienced in Art Education
