    Name: Ishmauel Songo
Date of Birth: 26 May 1995
    Age: 26 years old
    Occupation: Actor

Ishmauel Songo is a South African actor, presenter and A.F.D.A graduate who is well known for playing Sabelo Jethro Zwane on Rhythm City. He was born on 26 May 1995. He grew up in what he called “poverty stricken environment” of Tembisa, Johannesburg in Gauteng province.

    Acting career of Ishmauel Songo

Though Ishmauel Songo is widely known for his Rhythm City character Sabelo, he has appeared also on the 2005 South African movie called Tsotsi and was a presenter on SABC 1 YO-Tv. He then later came to Rhythm City where he had a cameo role as Sabelo Jethro Zwane. [1]

In 2021 he landed the role of Mpande Zulu on Showmax telenovela Hlomu The Wife.  He initially auditioned for the role of Nqobizitha on The Wife but he didn’t get the role and he was given the role of Mpande.

“Little did I know I got the role but I think they already knew they wanted me but not for the role of Nqobizitha. They probably saw that I would do better for the role of Mpande,” he said.

In January 2022 his role came to an end in the form of death and fans were heart broken.

“Playing the role of Mpande Zulu was not easy at all because I was born and raised in Johannesburg, so tapping into that kind of Zulu was difficult, but if you’re a gifted actor you need to go do your research,” he added.

    His Rhythm City Sabelo character

The Rhythm City character Sabelo Zwane is married to Sindiswa. Ishmauel appeared on Rhythm City as a Nyaope boy by the name of Sabelo, he was playing alongside Nkosimpendulo Cengani ( portraying Emmanuel ). Seeing how Nyaope was such a huge problem in his poverty stricken Tembisa location where he grew up, he proposed the Nyaope boy storyline. He had to sit down with Nyaope boys in Tembisa to learn how they roll their joints so that they can make the storyline more convincing.

“I saw how bad the problem of the drug had become, it’s become like HIV,” said Ishmauel Songo.[2]

Sabelo grew to overcome the addiction of Nyaope and was later employed by Suffocate Ndlovu at Kilowatt as a barman. The former Nyaope boy later got Married to Sindiswa, thanks to Suffocate who assisted with Lobola funds. Ishmauel Songo’s Rhythm City story line is so inspirational, from Nyaope boy to a married barman, this shows that its possible to overcome Nyaope.

    Ishmauel Songo’s girlfriend and Children

Though we know him as Sabelo who is married to Sindiswa on our screens, behind the scene, the Rhythm City star is not yet married but has got a girlfriend by the name of Mbali. And he has got two children, a daughter from the past relationship and one with his current Queen of London. He loves his two daughters and always share their pictures on Instagram.

    Ishmauel’s Networth

He acts as a barman and living in his mother-in-law’s house but in real life he is far better than that. Songo recently renovated his parent’s house as a surprise (we dont know how he pulled it). The star owns a mini cooper worth R486 000. His overall Networth is about $85 000.[3]  [4]

    Age: 34 years old
    Occupation: Actor and motivational speaker
Known as: Mazwi Moroka from Generations: the legacy
    Nationality: South African
    From: Durban, Kwazulu Natal province

    Background and education

Musa Ngema, born on August 01, 1986 (age 34 years old), is a South African actor well known as Mazwi Moroka from Generations: the legacy. He was born and bred in Durban, Kwazulu Natal. The Generation star studied drama at Durban University of Technology and acquired a National Diploma in Drama. [1]

In real life, Musa is shy and quiet, he is an introvert but he plays a ruthless character on TV.

    Career of Musa Ngema

After studying drama at DUT, Musa Ngema had few roles on 7de Laan as Lindile, Rhythm City as Norton and Generations: the Legacy. He has also played Othello in Shakespeare’s Othello, multiple roles in both The Crucible and Animal Farm and the prince in Cinderella and is currently playing Mazwi Moroka on Generations.

    Musa Ngema as Mazwi Moroka

Mazwi Moroka is a fictional character on Generations: the Legacy portrayed by Musa Ngema. Mazwi was first introduced to viewers as Archie Moroka’s long lost son who has come back to claim what is rightfully his. Unlike his brother Smanga – an original Moroka – who grew up with a silver spoon in the mouth, Mazwi is a kasi man who has turned into an intellectual overnight.

When Mazwi was introduced to viewers, he had morals and values, but these had since changed. His quest for power has turned him into an arrogant person who often gets under people’s skin. Ngema admits that Mazwi has grown to become arrogant because of his background.

“Mazwi grew up poor and suddenly finds himself in a rich and powerful family. This makes him arrogant.
“When you give a poor man money, he can easily become arrogant because he believes that he is untouchable.”
Generations: The Legacy’s storyline has changed, exposing Mazwi’s weaknesses especially to those who want to manipulate him into wrong doings.

“He has this sense of entitlement. He thinks that he is entitled to power and hates those who belittle him.”
“Since he wants to be the chief executive and leader of the Moroka business and clan, he wants to appear decisive,” he says. Ngema’s wish is to see Mazwi losing it all and starting all over again. “Right now he has lost himself. It will be a big lesson if he had to start all over again.” [2]

Menzi Brighton Biyela’s Profile-Biography, Net Worth, Career & Age

We(zainfo.co.za team) are pleased to inform you about  Menzi Brighton Biyela’s Profile-Biography, Net Worth, Career & Age

    Full Name: Menzi Brighton Biyela
Date of birth: 5 May 1983 (38 years old)
    Place of Origin: Kwa-Zulu Natal
    Children: Sipho Biyela (son)
Education: Diploma in Drama at DUT(Durban University of Technology) from 2002-2004.
Occupation: Actor, writer, Voice-over artist, singer-songwriter, rapper, director, entrepreneur and music producer
    Founder: Properlymade Management Concepts
Famous for: Mandlakhe on Rhythm City
    Nationality: South African

Born 1983 on the 5th of May, Menzi Brighton Biyela is a South African actor, singer-songwriter, rapper, director, entrepreneur, music producer, and voice-over artist. He graduated from the Durban University of Technology in 2004 with a Diploma in Drama. Which included Drama, Acting, Singing and Writing. Menzi is pretty much the definition of a multipotentialite. He has so many talents. Many of which include, Singing, Rapping, Acting and Music production. Brighton has a youtube channel called Menzi Biyela where he shares snaps from his career. In one of the videos, he shared his long ago acting scenes with the legendary Siyabonga Shibe.

He furthermore shared some of his rapping and singing performances. Menzi has been in the acting and Music industry for a very long time. Close to 30 years. However, most of the time he is behind the scenes directing movies and theatre plays. He has a company called Properlymade Management Concepts which deals with Film production, theatre plays, and even produces music. You can say he does not think inside the box.

    Acting Career and Filmography

His acting career is one that is not short of a journey. He was featured in the following films, Blessers (2019), Soul City (2020), and Five Tiger (2020). These are the films for which he is featured on Imdb though there’s nothing more than this. Menzi Brighton Biyela’s most prominent roles are his role on Rhythm City as Mandlakhe and Pastor Gwala on Uzalo.

His acting skills are so mad insane that when he took on the role of Pastor Gwala people thought the Pastor would also be a crook like Mandlakhe is on Rhythm City. Bringing clarity to this Menzi did share his thoughts on this saying that people could not distinguish between the characters Menzi plays and the character Menzi is in real life such that they tie one to the other.

Often mostly the one they see on Tv, he even jokingly added that some people probably thought he is a crook in real life. However, this may and is probably true, so many actors have been harrassed in public and on social media because of the roles they play on television.

Moreover, Menzi said that he hopes to shed light on the flexibility of the two worlds by showing people that he can be a very good timid Pastor and a good Criminal too. He hopes this will shed light on how acting works since people get the wrong ideas of the craft by thinking that the roles played by actors are a reflection of their true character.

    Family and friends

The actor has a son called Sipho Biyela who is roughly in his early teen years. He has shared quite a few posts of them together on his Instagram. Menzi is quite the timid and humble person, you’d be surprised. He is proud of his work and often times shares snaps of himself in the work field which shows how passionate he is about his work. Brighton is friends with the famous singer Sjava and has shared quite many snaps of them together, being a singer himself it is hard to tell if they’ll ever do somethibg together. Menzi’s biographical information was hard to find but we will keep looking.
