    Art Charter is offering an internship opportunity for the position of a trainee broker. During this programme, the candidate will be assigned a mentor who is one of Art Charter’s senior brokers.
    The candidate will learn and partake in training programmes, going out on flight reps and witnessing the process leading to the use of commercial jets. Candidates will also learn how to build a book of business to which planes can carry a certain number of passengers and how to successfully administer chartered flights.

    Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

    • Building relationships with new clients through networking, managing inquiries, and cold calling
    • Continuously and actively learning about the type of aircraft that is used at Art Charter ad well as their capacity, range and crewing

    Barloworld Automotive and Logistics is offering an internship for the position of an Accounts Intern. The candidate will provide assistance to the BCO financial manager by performing various tasks in finance as well as month-end reporting in accordance with BCO activities.

    Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

    • Processing and dispatching month-end statements to Group Divisions
    • Reconciling general ledger accounts every month
    • Processing and reconciling staff accounts and Internal Audit trip sheets
    • Updating payments as well as ensuring Treasury Journals, MEJ’s and CFJ are processed
    • Ensuring BCO journals are processed and authorized by the Accounts Manager
    • Making sure bonds are allocated correctly and processing of the funding entries
    • Processing all BCO’s Cashbook transactions
    • Processing Cashbook Payments (donations and shared based payments)
    • Ensuring Due Diligent reports are performed for new suppliers
    • Providing assistance for any Division and departmental queries
    • Providing assistance with Trusts Financials
    • Performing supplier spend for Procurement
    • Loading into Ability and Cats all approved supplies
    • Performing activities requested by the financial manager, such as ad hoc duties

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

    • Education requirement: must have completed a Matric (NSC)

    AISA is offering a Marketing Internship in South Africa as part of ‘The Membership & Growth Programme.’ During this programme, the candidate will gain up to 1-years working experience in an international organisation by offering support with the ‘Membership & Growth’ strategy delivery and focusing on customer experience and retention. During the programme, the candidate will report to the Activism Coordinator and build key relationships with the Social Media Consultant; Executive Director; Activism Coordinator (Organising); Researcher; Finance and Human Resources Manager and Campaigner.

    Key Performance Areas of the Programme:
    1) Providing assistance in the development/execution of customer journeys:

    • Ensuring automated journeys are created
    • Ensuring reporting is prepared on SMS and email metrics
    • Ensuring that SMS/email templates are designed to be optimised and mobile/user friendly
    • Providing assistance in editing and copywriting

    2) Providing assistance in the production/execution of retention initiatives:

    • Relieving the receptionist (when requested to do so)

    5) Other
