    Learnership types: NWK Limited are offering 2 types of learnership programmes:
    1) Business Administration (NQF 4): for learners who wish to become involved, or are already involved in the field of administration (including secretaries, administrators, administrative assistants and clerks).
    This programme will run over the course of 1 year and will include theoretical and practical training.

    2) Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF 4): for learners who wish to further their knowledge of the Wholesale and Retail sector. Students will learn to perform the operation functions to industry standards, optimise productivity and improve service levels. The learnership will ensure that students learn effective communication, numeracy, understanding the sector, business management and distribution centre/ stock management.
    This programme will run over the course of 1 year and will include theoretical and practical training.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Since 1992, PathCare has provided assistance to many healthcare professionals and doctors by confirming and determining diagnoses of patients. PathCare is registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) with all their laboratories being SANAS accredited.

    The PathCare Academy for Training and development was first opened in 2006 with its goal being to overcome the shortages of skills in South Africa’s pathology sector.     DETAILS ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMMES:

    Location: Kroonstad Maize Mill, Free State & Vereeniging Wheat Mill Gauteng
    Positions available: 4
    Duration: 2.5 years
    Department: Technical Milling

    Premier are looking for 4 candidates to join their Apprenticeship programme, within the Technical Department-Premier Milling. Training will take place over the duration of 2.5 years, and will include theoretical courses through SAGMA, practical work in a milling environment and in-service training experience. Learners will be based at the Kroonstad Maize Mill and the Vereeniging Wheat Mill.
    The programme will require candidates to:

    • Pass all SAGMA module (per the pass rate set by management)
    • Have sufficient knowledge of the relevant department / area in the milling supply chain after completing each module
    • Operate and perform key tasks in all departments / areas after completing each module
    • Perform tasks per the request of the Production Manager / Head Miller

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

    Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

    • Education requirement: must have completed Matric
    • Passed Mathematics in Matric (advantageous)
    • Must be able and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

    ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP

    The learnership is for those who wish to acquire a Medical Claims Assessing qualification (NQF level 4). The purpose of the programme is to help students prepare to enter the workplace and provide employment opportunities within the insurance and medical administration industry.

    Before placement, shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake the following mandatory checks: Qualifications, ITC, Criminal record and References.

    The learnership will run over a 12 month period – generally from 1 February to 31 January each year.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Obtained a minimum pass mark of 50% (level 4) for English in Matric
