ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:
NWK Limited, located in the North West Province of South Africa, is one of the top agricultural business within the grain and food value chain of the country. The company has been in operation for over 100 years and has been innovating, transforming and growing with agriculture to look after the needs of stakeholders and contribute to food security.
The groups main goal is to trade in agricultural and related products, aids and services at a retail level and to undertake associated activities.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Lichtenburg, North West Province
Learnership types: NWK Limited are offering 2 types of learnership programmes:
1) Business Administration (NQF 4): for learners who wish to become involved, or are already involved in the field of administration (including secretaries, administrators, administrative assistants and clerks).
This programme will run over the course of 1 year and will include theoretical and practical training.
2) Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF 4): for learners who wish to further their knowledge of the Wholesale and Retail sector. Students will learn to perform the operation functions to industry standards, optimise productivity and improve service levels. The learnership will ensure that students learn effective communication, numeracy, understanding the sector, business management and distribution centre/ stock management.
This programme will run over the course of 1 year and will include theoretical and practical training.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
1) Business Administration (NQF 4):
- Education requirement: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Education requirement: preference will be given to those who have completed the Business Administration NQF 3 learnership
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups (people of colour)
- Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply
2) Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF 4):
- Education requirement: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Education requirement: preference will be given to those who have completed the Wholesale and Retail NQF 3 learnership
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups (people of colour)
- Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply
