ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:
RAM was formed in 1988 by Chairman Nathan Lazarus, it is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and service-orientated family business, currently managed by 2 brothers David and Graeme. Since its inception, the company has grown to include around 3000 staff members, all of whom are trained and motivated to deliver the company’s promise – to handle every delivery as if it was their own.
RAM currently has over 1500 active clients, including major corporations and leaders in the retail sector.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Industria, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Learnership type: Driving Learnership Programme.
Contract term: 12 months.
Salary: students will receive a learner allowance every month for the duration of the learnership
RAM Hand-To-Hand Courier are looking for suitable candidates to take part in their Professional Driving Learnership Programme for 2021. The programme will span over a period of 12 months and will include a fixed term employment contract as well as a learnership contract. Those who hold a valid driver’s license, and are eager and willing to learn driving within a professional spectrum should apply.
Learners who complete the programme will receive a National Certificate: Professional Driving (NQF3).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between 18 and 29 years old
- Must have completed Matric (NSC) or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Code 10)
- Must have good driving skills
- Must be in good health
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must NOT be currently studying
- Must be willing and able to work through theoretical and practical learning component
- Must have good numerical skills
- Must have good communication skills

ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP
Lancet Laboratories Learnerships are available in the following career fields:
The learnership program generally runs over the course of 2 years. Candidates will receive a stipend each month but are responsible for covering the cost of their own accommodation, meals, and transport.
