    Responsibilities, functions and key activities of the position:

    • Planning, managing and coordinating transport (inbound and outbound)
    • Coordinating logistics operations – booking to final destination of the product
    • Liaissing and co-ordinating with supervisors from receiving hub about consolidation orders
    • Scheduling, booking, coordinating and completing paperwork for orders
    • Generating TPO (transport purchase orders) and packaging materials orders
    • Verifying and assisting with invoicing of completed goods stock – generating customer invoices
    • Working with clients daily to ensure shipping requirements are met for every shipment
    • Ensuring booking requests are dealt with and specific requests are executed
    • Assisting with coordinating orders and loading dates with customers
    • Entering schedule information into the system for preparation of releases, bookings and other requests
    • Managing workflow (incoming and outgoing) and preparing information
    • Coordinating loading with supervisors, dispatch teams and transporters
    • Assisting with internal and external clients regarding logistics issues
    • Compiling order, shipping and document delivery reports (weekly and monthly)
    • Assisting with yearly and monthly physical stock counting and processing of stock take until confirmation

    Beekman Group is providing an internship position for an individual who has completed a relevant tertiary qualification or is working towards the qualification and is seeking employment.
    The intern will aid in maintaining the group’s current and recent automated test scripts whilst also assisting in the coordinating, planning, and creating of automated test scripts. They will also be required to occasionally provide assistance with ad-hoc projects.

    Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

    • Creating, maintaining, and/ or updating test plans on different projects; the automation of framework; the automation of regression test pack across different projects, and the test of automation tools
    • The scheduling / maintaining of automation scripts in various environments
    • Assisting in automation tasks to junior test analysts
    • Observing and reporting of automation runs in various environments
    • Sharing knowledge with fellow team members
    • Inspecting the accuracy and standard of all testing done by fellow team members and yourself
    • Working with the development team to facilitate defect resolution
    • Maintaining, recognizing, and preparing test data in various test environments
    • Reporting, logging, managing, and resolving any bugs/defects with the aid of defect tracking tools
    • Ensuring the highest level of quality by applying QA standards
    • In all phases of the SDLC, carry out all QA activities: analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases in different environments
    • Staying within test cycles (Performance, System Integration, UAT, and Regression) to complete test execution
