    • The main objectives CSEE examination is evaluated student’s skills and knowledge and to so that they can use the skills gained to meet the social, political, economic and technological challenges for the individual and the national development at large. The qualified CSEE student is expected to apply these skills of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation in a broad range of activities.

    CSEE

    • The Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) administrated by National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA). This is an achievement test offered to candidates who have completed four years of secondary education. That means if you wanted to qualify the four years of secondary education you must qualify the CSEE exam. This exam is conducted by necta first week of November every year.
    • Private candidates for Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) shall have an extra examination paper on each subject which shall be in lieu of Continuous Assessment

    Qualifications for NECTA CSEE

    • Any candidates who have completed four years of secondary education at both government and non-government (private) registered schools and passed form two secondary education examination or Qualifying Test. . No candidate for the CSEE shall register for more than ten subjects at one sitting.
    • Any private candidate who sits for CSEE for the first time shall be required to register for not less than four subjects which he sat for at FTNA.
    • A FTNA private candidate shall be eligible to register and sit for CSEE within a period of ten years from the time he passed FTNA.

      (a) of these Regulations.

    Calculation of GPA:

    Calculation of GPA shall base on candidate’s best score in seven subjects. Calculation of GPA shall base on candidate’s best score in seven subjects

    • (a) a distinction shall range at a GPA of 3.6 – 5.0;
    • (b) a merit range at a GPA of 2.6 – 3.5
    • (c) a credit shall range at a GPA of 1.6 – 2.5 or awarded subject to regulation 25(2);
    • (d) a pass shall range at a GPA of 0.3 – 1.5, and awarded to a candidate who passes in at least one of the subject at a grade not below C or passes in at least two subjects at grade D.

    GPA shall not be calculated to a candidate who sat for less than seven subjects. The CSEE shall contain the particulars as set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations.

    From 2016 the National Examination Council Of Tanzania (NECTA) developed online Matokeo ya form two system through official website (www.necta.go.tz csee 2020). Now students of Tanzania can check their Certificate of Secondary Education Examination Results 2020/2021 online. Check below for step by step guide to get the result online.

    • Step 1 : visit www.necta.go.tz
    • Step 2 : Find the “Result” in Main Menu and Click on “Search” from the submenu.
    • Step 3 : The “Search Result” window will appear shown below.
    • Step 4: Select your “Year” as 2020
    • Step 5: Select “Exam Type” as CSEE.
    • Step 6: Enter Your “Candidate number” (Form CSEE)
    • Final Step: Click on “Request” button.

    N.B.: Do not forget to save/download the csee results 2020/2021 for future reference.

    The directorate of National Examinations and Assessment (DNEA), Namibia and the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture (MoEAC) conducted national exams and also published their results. DNEA Exam Results are generally released in the month of December and January.

    DNEA Exam Results 2023-2024

    The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment hereby announces the results release date of Grade 10 (JSC) and Grade 12 Higher level (NSSCH) on 21st December (Tentative). Both websites and SMS services will become active at 00:15 minutes after midnight.

    The following procedure should be followed when using the SMS services to obtain the results. E.g. NSSCH followed by surname and first name/examination number of the candidate.

    How to check DNEA Exam Results 2023-2024

    The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture and Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment (DNEA), Namibia allows students to check their exam results in different ways.     • In Namibia Secondary education stretches over a period of 5 years from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Children are presented with a Junior School Certificate (JSC) after successful completion of Grade 10 (JSC).
    • Grade 10 national examinations in the following five subjects: Geography, Entrepreneurship, History, Physical Science and Design and Technology.
    • The 10-grade results will be available on the website of the Directorate National Examinations and Assessment at www.dnea.gov.na, the website of the Ministry of Education at www.moe.gov.na and JSC results in 2023 will also be accessible via an SMS service.

    Namibia Grade 10 Results Release Date:

    • Generally, the JSC results are released in the month of December
      In December 2014, 2015 grade 10 results were announced on 17 December 2015. So it is expected that this year the result may release mid of December along with Grade 12 results.

    Namibia Grade 10 Results Performance:

    • In 2015: A total 48,989 candidates where 37,457 candidates were full-time and 11 532 were part-time candidates have been registered for Junior Secondary Certificate (Grade 10) examination at 1674 Junior Secondary schools and 216 part-time tuition centres. The number of Grade 10 full-time candidates and part-time candidates increased by 2643 (5.7%) if compared to 2014 candidates.
    • In 2014 : A total 46,346 candidates whereof 35,592 full-time and 10,754 part-time candidates were registered for Junior Secondary Certificate (Grade 10) examination at 656 Junior Secondary schools and 159 part-time tuition centres.

    Last Year Grade 12 Results Ordinary Level Summary:

    • In 2014: A total of 19,392 number full-time candidates who wrote for grade 12 ordinary level examinations in 2014, 93,2% were graded compared to 93.0 % in 2013. The above simply means that 93,2% qualified for subject certificates. In the entire exams, only 6.8 % were ungraded compared to 7% in 2013.
    • It is also important to note that of the 25 540 part-time candidates who sat for the examinations 79.2% were graded in 2014 compared to 82.1% in 2013.

    NSSC Ordinary Level results Grade:

    • The NSSC Ordinary Level results are reported on an 8-point scale of grades:
      A* to G, of which A* indicates exceptional performance or distinction, and represents the lowest performance worthy of a grade.
    • Candidates who failed to obtain the minimum standard to be graded are ungraded which is indicated by a “U” symbol. X, I and Q symbols also appear on the statements of results of some candidates.
    • “X” indicates no result whilst
    • Q” means the results are still under investigation and, therefore, pending,
    • I” indicates that the candidate was absent or the results are incomplete.

    The Rwanda National Examinations Council (RNEC) is responsible for the overall administration, regulation, and supervision of national examinations and accreditation in primary and secondary schools in Rwanda.

    Rwanda Education Board (REB) was established on 07/12/2010 to improve Rwanda’s Education quality, build the capacities and management of teachers, loans, and scholarships, monitor the distance learning program, and promote the use of information and communication technology in education.

    • PRIMARY (P6): Primary Leaving National Examination:

    • REB Rwanda is also responsible for the publication of Primary to Advance level national examination results. Rwanda Education Board (REB) allows students to check the reb result in a very easy way. REB also Analyse results and produce performance statistics.
    • REB announced their result in the web portal www.reb.rw, once the results are published candidates or schools whose results are withheld or canceled is also notified by the board.
    • All results will be issued by REB as soon as the award and processing of marks are completed for each centre. A list of all candidates showing their subject results and theioverall performance will be printed and candidates will be able to view their results online through SMS on mobile phones or on the website. The result slips for individual candidates will also be printed and delivered to examination centres.

    • In last year i.e. 2016 The Rwanda National Examinations Council (RNEC) announced National Examination results like Senior Six or S6 National Examination Results on February 2020 and P6 & S3 National Examination Results announced on January 2020.

    REB grades

    • The performance of every candidate shall be given a grade for each subject and a result slip issued accordingly, indicating the overall performance of the candidate.
    • Grades are awarded on a 9-point scale from 1 to 9 and a 6-point scale for A-level results from A to E for Principal passes and S for Subsidiary passes determined by establishing the position of a candidate’s raw marks on a frequency distribution curve.
    • The pass mark is 3 subsidiary passes in the principal subjects. To qualify for Higher Education, a candidate at A’ Level must also obtain 2 principals at E in two principal subjects with a minimum of 13 points.

    Workforce Development Authority (WDA) is responsible for conducting TVET National Exams.

    PRIMARY LEAVING NATIONAL EXAMINATION:

    • Primary Leaving National Examination also is known as P6, candidates will be eligible for the examination if they have completed six years of Primary Education. They must be presented by their schools as there are no private candidates at this level.

    ORDINARY LEVEL NATIONAL EXAMINATION:

    • Ordinary Level National Examination: also known as S3 candidates will be eligible if they have completed three years of Secondary Education. Only candidates presented by their school head teachers are eligible for this examination. They may be asked for proof of having sat the primary leaving examinations.

    ADVANCED LEVEL NATIONAL EXAMINATION:

    Advanced Level National Examination also is known as S6.

    School Candidates

    • A school candidate must be a bonafide student who has been studying continuously for three years, after the Ordinary Level National Examination, in a Secondary School recognized as eligible to present candidates for the advanced Level National Examination

    Private Candidates

    • A private candidate is one who is not entitled to enter as a school candidate but is eligible to register and sit for the examination in conformity with entry requirements stipulated by the Board.

    BGCSE Results

    • BGCSE Results : Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) is generally responsible for outing Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) results online furthermore the Honourable Minister of Education and Skills Development authorises the release of the bgcse results.
    • Presently BGCSE is a syllabus based examination. Each syllabus is graded on an 8 point scale, ranging from A* to G.     BEC RELEASES BGCSE RESULT

    Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has released the 2020 Botswana General Certificate for Secondary Education (BGCSE) examination results. A total of 32 470 candidates wrote the 2020 examination showing a decrease of 12.8% in candidature compared to the 2020 cohort of 37 251. There were 13 537 (41.69%) male candidates and 18 933 (58.31%) female candidates sitting for the 2020 BGCSE Examination. In 2020 there were 23 026 (70.91%) candidates from government and government-aided schools compared to 25 802 (69.27%) in 2020 and 9 444 (29.09%) private candidates compared to 11 449 (30.74%) in 2020. The private candidates’ category included 1 156 (3.56%) Back-to-School candidates, 1 354 (4.17%) candidates from Private Schools and 8 090 (24.92%) Private Candidates. The private candidates are from BEC Centres and Botswana Open University Centres.

There were altogether 40 353 candidates who actually sat and were awarded grades in the 2020 JCE compared to 40 079 candidates in 2020, which is a slight increase of 0.68% in the candidature. The slight increase has been observed in private centre candidates.

    The Junior Certificate Examination (JCE) assesses the achievement of learners who have completed three years of secondary education. The total number of candidates who sat for the 2016 Junior Certificate Examination (JCE) is 41 464 which is a decrease of 1.13 % from the 2015 candidature. Among the 41464 candidates, 1190 were Back to School candidates. There were 20 408 male candidates and 21 056 female candidates.     The Examinations Council of Lesotho (ECoL) is a non-profit making organization, which is responsible for conducting public examinations and publish their results. It conducts public examinations at the end of basic education, Standard 7 (Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) ), after the end of Junior Secondary, Form C (Junior Certificate Examination) and at the end of Senior Secondary, Form E (O’ Levels/COSC). The O’Level curriculum and examinations have been provided to Lesotho since 1961 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and later by Cambridge International Examinations CIE.

    Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE):

    This is an examination that is taken at the end of 7 years of schooling. It is mainly used for selection into Junior Secondary.

    There are five subjects that are examined at the end of PSLE, namely;

    • English
    • Sesotho
    • Science
    • Mathematics
    • Social Studies

    Since PSLE in Lesotho is free and compulsory, the examinations are also free for all public schools.

    Junior Secondary (JS):

    This is an examination that is taken at the end of Junior Secondary. There are two types of candidates, private candidates, and school candidates.

    • School Candidates are full-time learners and are doing a minimum of 6 subjects. Their registration is done in 2 ways: firstly they submit softcopy of registration lists which ends on February. Secondly, they complete the financial registration (pay for the candidates registered for examinations) towards the end of May.
    • Private Candidates are learners who are studying as individuals without attending any formal schools. They study six subjects or more or less. They can register to the nearest schools or go directly to the Examinations Council of Lesotho. Their registration ends towards the end of May.
