The City Law School is firmly committed to a generous program of scholarships awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The Dean’s Scholarship – a full-fee scholarship – is offered to the most outstanding candidates across all postgraduate and professional programs in The City Law School.

Eligibility for the City Law School Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence:

Applicants must hold an upper second or first-degree (or international equivalent).
Candidates should hold an offer of a place on one of the courses specified below at The City Law School. The offer can be conditional or unconditional and they do not need to have accepted their place in order to apply for a scholarship.
Students can be of any fee-paying status (Home, EU or international) and be studying full-time or part-time.

Note:

If a student has been awarded a City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence earlier in the year, they will be considered for an upgrade to City Law School Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence in June (for BVS & SPP students) or during the second round (for GDL and Master of Laws students).

Eligibility for the UTS Science High Achiever’s Scholarship:

Applicant must be Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa.
Candidate should be current school leaver or gap year student who received an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or equivalent score in the previous year, where no university study was undertaken in the gap year.
Applicant should have a Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) preference to one of the courses at UTS in the Faculty of Science listed for the Autumn session directly following the Scholarship selection.
Should have academic excellence in the final year of high school (ATAR of 95 or above, excluding bonus points).

Selection Process:

Ranked in ATAR (or equivalent score) order and first UAC preference to one of the specified UTS Faculty of Science undergraduate degree at the time of selection will be highly regarded.
Candidates who have applied using the optional UTS online Elite School Leavers Scholarships Application form will be highly regarded.
Motivation to succeed in the specific Faculty of Science degree program as demonstrated in the Scholarship application, may be considered.
