INSETA provides a range of skill development and training programmes such as bursaries, learnerships and internships, to help bridge the gap of skilled workers within the Insurance sector.

    ABOUT THE UWC/ INSETA BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE

    UWC is inviting undergraduate and postgraduate students, pursuing studies at the University, to apply for the INSETA bursary programme. The bursary is intended for studies towards an NQF Level 6 to 8 qualification, for the 2021 academic year.

    Students pursuing studies towards the following qualifications may apply:

    • Accounting (BCom or BAdmin)
    • Data Science/ Data Analyst
    • Economics (BCom or BAdmin)
    • Finance (BCom or BAdmin)
    • Financial Planning (Loss Adjustor)
    • Information Technology

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE UWC/ INSETA BURSARY

    Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

    • You must be a South African citizen
    • You must be under the age of 35 years old
    • You must be unemployed
    • You must be a registered undergraduate or postgraduate student at UWC
    • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% for the previous year of study

    ABOUT THE BURSAR

    We  are pleased to inform you about Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Bursary South Africa 2025-2026/ read full details.

    In 1995, Nelson Mandela founded the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund to help pay for the treatment of children in South Africa. Over a decade later (in 2009), the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust (NMCHT) is founded, with the aim of building a top-notch care facility for children. In 2014, the construction of the hospital began and 2016 marks the year of its opening of the hospital.

    The NMCH, with funding from the National Skills Fund (NSF), have implemented the bursary program as a way to train over 300 specialist pediatric nurses.

    ABOUT THE BURSARY

    The NMCH bursary program is intended for undergraduate short courses and postgraduate nurse training diplomas, at a recognised South African University. Postgraduate nursing students who intend on specializing in paediatric nursing are welcome to apply.

    Undergraduate students will only be covered from their 2nd year of study onwards (applicants must have completed their 1st year). Students will also be required to work at the Johannesburg branch of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, for the equal duration of the bursary awarded.
    The bursary will be awarded to students within the following fields:

    • Child Nursing
    • Intensive Care Nursing
    • Neonatal Nursing
    • Nephrology Nursing
    • Oncology Nursing
    • Operating Theatre Nursing

     

    ELIGIBILITY

    Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:

    MORE ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUE, OTHER OPPORTUNITIES & SERVICE CONTRACT

    The NMBM bursary will cover the following study expenses: tuition fees, residential accommodation, food and a monthly allowance.

    Bursary recipients will also have access to skills development opportunities, which includes workplace learning and experience. When bursars are required to take part in experiential training, they will receive an allowance.

    Once students have graduated, they will be required to work for the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality – the period of employment will be equal to the duration of the bursary award.

    ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE

    The Gauteng Film Commission (GFC) are inviting students who reside in Gauteng, between the ages of 18 and 30, to apply for their bursary programme. Students who are passionate about following a career in Film, Audio Visual or Television and are pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in these fields may apply:

    The South African Council for English Education (SACEE) are a NPO that consists of mostly voluntary members, founded in 1955 by a small group of people who wished to protect the usage of the English language. Today, the SACEE’s mission is to support teaching and learning of the English language, by encouraging, promoting and maintaining the improvement of spoken and written English in South Africa.

    ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED

    The SACEE Norah Taylor bursary is intended for will be awarded to qualified, practicing teachers SACEE Norah Taylor Bursary South Africa(minimum M+3) and with no less than 4 years teaching experience.

    Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) is a coal export terminal situated in the Richards Bay harbour, along the coast of the Indian Ocean. The world class terminal was opened in 1976 and provides Coal Exporting Parties (CEP’s) in South Africa, with logistics service that assist in the export of coal.

    RBCT is Africa’s largest coal export facility, as well as one of the top coal export terminals across the globe.
