But first you must know how to register your application through NAPOLCOM Online Registration Information System (NORIS).

For this November 2025-2026 exam, the National Police Commission will be implementing the new NAPOLCOM online registration information system (NORIS) for the online filling, submission and printing out of an electronic application form to expedite the processing of the application. In this article, we’ll walk you through the NAPOLCOM online application process.

According to NAPOLCOM, the NORIS (previously called OLEASS) allows entrance exam applicants to choose the examination center where they want to take the exam regardless of their place of residence. But for the promotional exam applicants, the examination center is automatically assigned by the computer system based on the home address or unit/assignment address provided by the police applicants.

The PNP Entrance Examination is open to all natural born Filipino citizens; must not be less than 21 years old nor more than 30 years old and; bachelor’s degree holder.

Is there a height requirement prior to the test?

According to NAPOLCOM, police examinations will no longer have height requirement for as long as applicants have a bachelor’s degree and are not more than 30 years old. Further, the said examinations are distinct and separate from the general qualifications for Patrolman/Patrolwoman (Pat/PO1).

Is it possible to take the Napolcom Entrance Exam if you are over 30 years old?

No, the examinee must not be more than 30 years old.

You have two options for obtaining eligibility: take the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Exam or the Professional Career Service Examination (CSC) Exam, both of which are open to anyone over the age of 30.

NAPOLCOM ONLINE APPLICATION (Step-by-Step Process)

Step 1. Visit the NAPOLCOM WEBSITE or NAPOLCOM ONLINE
REGISTRATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (NORIS) (activated on October 6, 2025-2026 at 12nn) Read the instruction carefully and take your time to make sure you understand exactly what you have to do (Don’t rush!). Scroll down to the bottom until you see the blue Proceed button, then click/hit that button.

Step 2. Fill-out the required personal information, re-check your information and click the CREATE NEW ACCOUNT button once you’re finished. Make sure to select your category, whether you are taking the exam as Civilian or PNP personnel.

After creating an account, go back to the log-in page (https://napolcom-noris.org/) and use your email address or mobile number to sign in. Then click Login.

Step 3. Edit your personal information, address information, education information and upload the required documents.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is better to use a desktop computer for processing your application online. Once you have uploaded and submitted the document, you cannot edit or remove any information, including the uploaded documents. If you incorrectly encoded your information or wrongfully uploaded any documents after submission, the best remedy is to wait for your rejection or disapproval (validating documents may take 1 to 2 working days). That way, you avoid a double entry. After rejection, re-submit the correct information or upload the required documents.

Once you’ve completed encoding the required information, all the documents you have submitted or uploaded will be validated by the NAPOLCOM Regional Office.

If the NAPOLCOM Regional Office verified the scanned documents you uploaded, it will show the available testing centers and an “Apply” button.

On your NORIS profile, click apply examination button and select region, testing center, examination category and examination date. Then click Apply Button to submit your application.

For payment validation, the status will appear in the dashboard (or your NORIS profile), and the applicant will be directed to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office to pay the examination fee for the examination for which he or she applied.

Once their exam applications are approved, applicants will then have 48 hours to pay the corresponding exam fees at their NAPOLCOM Regional Office. Failure to pay the examination fee within the given 48-hour period will result in the forfeiture of his/her application slot.

Step 3. Print out the Notice of Admission (NOA) and Examinee Profile (EP)

Once payment has been validated, the FOR EXAMINATION status and Print NOA buttons are shown. The NORIS will generate a Notice of Admission (NOA) and Examinee Profile (EP), which you should print. Take note that NOA and EP will be collected by the proctor on the day of the examination.

For Police Officer 2nd Class – Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00)

DRESSCODE/ATTIRE DURING EXAM

Strict compliance of the prescribed dress code is observed.

Applicants for the PNP entrance test should wear plain white T-shirt/polo shirt, dark pants and shoes while those who will take the promotional tests are required to wear GOA Type B (in field cap, no awards/medals, only accoutrements) or the PNP Patrol Shirt. Examinees NOT in the prescribed attire will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

According to NAPOLCOM, due to the modification of the PNP rank classification under Republic Act No. 11200, the current promotional examination titles are no longer appropriate with the present rank classification, hence, it has to be renamed.

This coming 2025-2026 examination, the NAPOLCOM has approved the renaming of the PNP promotional examinations titles in relation to RA No. 11200.

Below are the new examination titles and the corresponding rank coverage:

a.) Police Officer 1st Class Examination for Police Major and Police Lieutenant Colonel (formerly Police Superintendent Examination for Chief Inspector and Superintendent);

Application Process for PCG

Meet the qualifications. Check if you are qualified for the position you are applying to (Officer or non-officer). This will save you both the hassle and time.
Submit the initial requirements. Submit the requirements mentioned above to the nearest PCG district to schedule your PCGABT.
Take the PCG Aptitude Battery Test. On the day of the PCGABT, applicants should wear a white shirt, maong pants, white socks, and rubber shoes. Moreover, applicants are expected to have proper hair cut and clean nails.
Take the Physical Fitness Test. After passing the exam, applicants shall proceed to their respective PCG district to take the PFT.
Medical, Dental, and Neurological Exam. Applicants shall shoulder the expense of their medical exam. However, for the dental and Neurological, the PCG medical team will conduct it.
Undergo Final deliberation. Applicants who passed all the phases above will need to undergo final deliberation. The PCG Recruitment board members will determine who among the applicants are qualified to take the Coast Guard Officer’s Course (CGOC) or Coast Guardman’s Course (CGMC) training.
Oathtaking Ceremonies. Successful applicants will be informed about the details of the oathtaking ceremony.

Choose as to what you want to reload, either your autosweep or easytrip.
Fill out the form accurately by inputting your details like your plate number and the amount to load.

You can also reload your easytrip using BDO mobile banking app for free. Here are the steps:

Go to BDO Mobile Banking and sign in to your account.
Click ENROLLMENT > COMPANY/BILLER > Enroll then EASYTRIP SERVICE CORPORATION.
Select Channels for enrollment: Online/Mobile Banking or Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Complete the form and then Submit.
Once enrollment is done, you can now go to Pay Bills and Reload > Bills Payment > Pay Bills.
It will be credited after 24 hours.

The Philippine National Police Academy is the premier public safety institution that hones the future leaders of the PNP, BJMP, and the BFP. Created by Section 19 of the Presidential Decree 1184, it was established for the training and education of the members of the tri-bureau services of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Admitted cadets will undergo the PNPA Cadetship Program, a government-sponsored 4-year tertiary education course. Upon entry to the Academy, the PNPA cadets will receive monthly pay and allowances for their training and education expenses. After graduation from the program, they will be granted a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety (BSPS) degree. Moreover, graduates are automatically appointed as Police Lieutenant of the PNP, a Jail Inspector of the BJMP, or Fire Inspector of the BFP.

How to Apply

The PNPACAT online application requires the applicant to upload the following documentary requirements:

Scanned copy of PSA Birth Certificate (keep your official receipt because you may need this in other phases in case you passed the exam);
Scanned copy of PNPA BMI form signed by a licensed Physician (government or private);
A scanned copy of one (1) passport-sized (4.5cm x 3.5cm) ID picture with name tag.

Once you have all the necessary documents, follow these simple steps to register:

1. Create an Account

You will start your PNPA Cadetship journey by creating an account on their online application portal. On a computer with a good internet connection, go to the PNPA Application website (https://pnpa.edu.ph/application/registration.html).

For New Applicants

You will see the Welcome page of the application portal. Click the red button if you are a new applicant. Click the Privacy Notice tick-box then click the Continue button.
Confirm that you are qualified to apply for the 2022 PNPACAT then click the continue button.
This link will take you to the REGISTRATION page. This is for first-time applicants only. Simply follow the directions at the top of each segment and continue. In the subsequent sections, you will be required to provide your name, address, gender, date of birth, and account details, which you will use to access your account.
A pop-up window will appear confirming that you successfully created an account. Take note of the application number that is created. This will be used for account identification. Then, you will be prompted to select between logging in immediately or later. A picture may also appear if a mistake occurs during registration. It will indicate when numerous applications with identical information are registered.

For Old Applicants

If you already applied for the previous PNPA Entrance Exam but were not accepted, click the gray button to log in. Enter your registered email address and the corresponding password that you used during the registration process.

Provide the Required Information/Documents

You will then be redirected to a page that consists of sections. At this point, you will be required to enter your scholastic information, medical information, and indigenous profile, among other requirements. Use the drop-down button if needed.

Initial Requirements

To be able to take the PNPACAT, an aspiring cadet must possess the following criteria listed below. We advise our readers to read this part. Please, do not submit your application if you are not qualified, you’ll just waste your time.

Unlike the previous PNPACAT, those senior high school graduates with Highest Honors as well as college graduates with Latin awards are no longer exempted from taking the PNPACAT.

The interested applicant must be a natural-born Filipino citizen;
Must not be more than 22 years old or less than 18 years old upon admission. Those applicants who will be 23 years old or have not reached 18 years old by June 1, 2023, are disqualified;
Single and no child to support;
At least Senior High School graduate upon admission. Those senior high school students who will graduate beyond June 1, 2023, are now allowed to apply. Similarly, those ALS Certified applicants (with SHS equivalent or enrolled in college) are allowed to take the PNPACAT 2022 ;
Pursuant to Republic Act (RA) 11549, male and female aspirants with 5’2” and 5’0 in height, respectively may now apply for the PNPACAT 2022. No need for a height waiver.
With a weight that corresponds to the applicant’s height, gender, and age in reference to Body Mass Index (BMI);
Physically and mentally fit to undergo rigorous training;
With good moral character (no criminal, administrative or civil derogatory record);
With no pending complaint and/or case in court involving moral turpitude and other cases against the State;
Not a former cadet of PNPA, or other service academies (PMA, PMMA, MAAP); and
Never been dismissed from any private employment or government position for a cause;

Disqualifications

Failure to meet just one of these initial requirements means disqualification from taking the PNPACAT and admission to the PNPA. Likewise, applicants who have any of the medical and dental conditions listed below are also disqualified:

Under height and overweight or obese;
Defective Visual Perception (e.g. color blindness, near-sighted/far-sighted with corrective eyeglasses or lens, nystagmus);
Any physical deformities like bow-leggedness, missing or extra fingers/toes, and other birth defects;
Hearing problems due to a perforated eardrum;
Chronic sinusitis, bleeding tendencies, hemorrhoids, hernia (if not treated), varicocele, extensive skin disorders;
History of heart disease, hypertension, asthma, active PTB, kidney and liver diseases, epileptic seizure disorders, major operations; communicable diseases (such as AIDS, Hepatitis, VD, etc.);
Full dentures, upper and lower, cleft lip and palate, malocclusion, deformities of the face, open bite, tongue-tied, missing of four (4) anterior or front teeth, and missing of six (6) posterior/molar teeth;
Tattoos or other brotherhood marks;
Ear piercing for males and multiple ear piercing for females;
For Females: Goiter; a history of pregnancy; the presence of breast mass; painful menstruation; and
Any other similar defects may affect the performance of the cadet in the program.

Successful examinees who passed the PNPACAT shall qualify for the next stage of screening which as follows:

GENERAL QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT

A citizen of the Philippines;
A person of good moral character;
Must have passed the Physical Agility Test, Neuro-Psychological Examination, General Physical and Dental Examination as well as Drug Test to be administered by the PNP for the purpose of determining physical and mental health;
Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
Must be eligible in accordance with the standards set by NAPOLCOM;
Must have not been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government;
Must have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62 m.) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m.) for female;
Must weigh not more or less than five kilograms (5 kgs.) from the standard weight corresponding to his or her height, age, and sex; and
Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age upon take oath.

Except for the last qualification, the above-enumerated qualifications shall be continuing in character and an absence of any one of them at any given time shall be a ground for separation or retirement from the service: Provided, that PNP members who are already in the service upon the effectivity of RA 8551 shall be given at least two (2) years to obtain the minimum education qualification and one (1) year to satisfy the weight requirement.

The Regional Director shall establish an Ad Hoc Screening Committee in each provincial office that shall be responsible for the widest dissemination of vacancies in the area and determination of the fitness of police applicants.

SCREENING PROCEDURE

Preliminary Interview/Screening– A point system shall be applied in the assessment and evaluation of the measurable qualification standards possessed by an individual applicant. The applicant shall be interviewed personally by the Screening Committee. If the applicant qualifies, he/she shall be required to present or accomplish the following:

Physical Agility Test(15 pts) – The Screening Committee shall require the applicant to undergo a physical agility test designed to determine whether or not he possesses the required coordination, strength and speed of movement necessary for service.

The PAT is composed of following events done in sequential order:

Physical Agility Test is one of the requirements by the PNP in order to evaluate the physical qualification of these aspiring Patrolman/woman applicants whether he or she possess the required condition such as strength and speed applicable in the service. The Screening Committee composed of personnel from RPHRDD and Regional Health Service took the lead as the screening committee.

Passing Score: – 75 pts

Psychological and/or Neuro Psychiatric Test– To exclude applicants who may be suffering from any mental disorder, the applicant shall take a psychological and/or neuro-psychiatric test to be administered by the PNP, or any duly recognized institution and meet all the requirements in paragraph (a) above.

Character and Background Investigation– The Screening Committee shall cause an intensive investigation to be conducted on the character and background of the applicant with the view of determining his character reputation and possible involvement in any questionable or criminal activities as well as his propensity toward violence or use of force.

Physical/Menta/Dental Examination– In order to determine whether or not the applicant is in good health, free from any contagious diseases, a physical and medical examination must be conducted by the city/municipal health officer or PNP medical officer after he/she qualified for preliminary interview.

Final interview(25 pts) – The Screening Committee shall interview the qualified applicant for suitability for police work. The interview shall aid in determining likeableness, affability, attitude towards work, outside interest, forcefulness, conversational ability, disagreeable mannerism, etc.

Oath-Taking– After the final deliberation and through selection among the qualified applicants, the successful applications shall take their oath of Office.

Probationary– period of at least twelve (12) months.
