    Philippine Coast Guard is a uniformed service tasked primarily to perform maritime enforcement, search and rescue, and maritime safety and security. If you want to join the PCG either as a PCG Officer or PCG non-Officer, read the qualifications below.

    Philippine Coast Guard Qualifications (Commisionship/Officer)

    • A natural-born citizen of the Philippines with good moral character.
    • 21-24 years old on the date of examination.
    • Single
    • Minimum height of 5’0″ for male and female.
    • Baccalaureate degree holder
    • with Professional Civil Service Eligibility with a rating of 82% and above or with PRC license,
    • Physically and Mentally qualified.
    • Has passed the PCG Aptitude Battery Test for Commisionship.

    Philippine Coast Guard Qualifications (Enlistment/ Non-Officer)

    • Natural Born Filipino Citizen with good moral character.
    • 18-26 years old on the day of Examination.
    • Single.
    • Minimum Height of 5’0″.
    • Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulation of the Coast Guard Service.
    • College Graduate or has earned at least 72 units in only one course as reflected in the Transcript of Records or
    • Senior High School Graduate provided that he/she has completed the TESDA courses (6 months or longer) relevant to PCG mandates as endorsed by the respective SECOMCAP.
    • Has passed the PCG Aptitude Battery Test.

    Philippine Coast Guard Requirements

    The following are the PCG requirements applicants need to prepare:

    • Accomplished PCGABT application Form. You can download it here.
    • Personal Information Sheet (download here).
    • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (Authenticated by the School).
    • Photocopy of College Diploma for commisionship or enlistment/ Senior Highschool Diploma or TESDA certificate for enlistment.
    • PSA Birth Certificate.

    Take the original copies of the requirements mentioned above to be presented upon submission of application on the purpose of verification. Make sure you have the complete requirements to avoid disqualification.

    Application Process for PCG

    1. Meet the qualifications. Check if you are qualified for the position you are applying to (Officer or non-officer). This will save you both the hassle and time.
    2. Submit the initial requirements. Submit the requirements mentioned above to the nearest PCG district to schedule your PCGABT.
    3. Take the PCG Aptitude Battery Test. On the day of the PCGABT, applicants should wear a white shirt, maong pants, white socks, and rubber shoes. Moreover, applicants are expected to have proper hair cut and clean nails.
    4. Take the Physical Fitness Test. After passing the exam, applicants shall proceed to their respective PCG district to take the PFT.
    5. Medical, Dental, and Neurological Exam. Applicants shall shoulder the expense of their medical exam. However, for the dental and Neurological, the PCG medical team will conduct it.
    6. Undergo Final deliberation. Applicants who passed all the phases above will need to undergo final deliberation. The PCG Recruitment board members will determine who among the applicants are qualified to take the Coast Guard Officer’s Course (CGOC) or Coast Guardman’s Course (CGMC) training.
    7. Oathtaking Ceremonies. Successful applicants will be informed about the details of the oathtaking ceremony.

    As announced, 8,737 elementary teachers (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers (53.77%) passed the LET. Among the 8,737 elementary teachers who passed, 2,678 were first-timers and 6,059 were repeaters. Secondary teachers: 4,652 first-timers, 7,422 repeaters

    Results of (JANUARY) 2023-2024 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) will be released on or before March 11, 2025-2026 (Friday) or 25-30 working days from the last day of examination in accordance with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 1439 entitled Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2024.

    This one day examination was held on January 30, 2025-2026 (Sunday) at the different testing centers in Manila, All Regional Offices and Zamboanga. LET examinations elementary and secondary levels were conducted by the PRC Professional Board of Professional Teachers headed by its Chairman, Dr. Rosita L. Navarro and its members, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

    MARINE BASIC COURSE (MBC)

     Holder of at least 72 units in college, K-12 graduate or graduate of any TESDA course (TESDA Certificate, Enrollment Report and Terminal Records)

    The PNP Entrance Examination or more popularly known as the NAPOLCOM Exam is a standard test for people who want to become a part of the Philippine National Police. In this article, we will talk about the steps that you need to take to register for it and the requirements that you need to prepare.

    Before you start the process, you must first check if you are eligible to take the exam:

    Who can take the NAPOLCOM Exam? 

    • Filipino Citizen
    • 30 Years or Younger
    • Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
    • Patrolmen or women with temporary PO1 appointment

    How to Apply for the NAPOLCOM Exam (PNP Entrance Exam):

    Step 1: Schedule an Appointment using the OLEASS

    To start the application, you must go to the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) in the NAPOLCOM website. The OLEASS is only open for a short period (two months before the examination).

    Step 3: Prepare for the NAPOLCOM Exam

    After submitting all the requirements, you will be informed of the schedule of your exam. Usually, this is two months after the registration period.

    After registering for the exam, the next step is to prepare for the day of the exam. First, let’s talk about the prescribed attire:

    The last PNP entrance exam had 200 multiple choice items. You are given 3 hours to finish the exam.

    What happens after I pass the exam? 

    When the exam is over, the results of the exam will be posted on the NAPOLCOM website and the Central and Regional Offices. A Report of Ratings document will be mailed to the test-taker’s address.

    What if you failed to take the exam

    If you are scheduled to take an exam, but you failed to show up, you can take the CAEx Exam by scheduling in the OLEASS or by going straight to the CAEx location as a walk-in applicant.

    What is the CAEx

    The CAEx is the computerized version of the PNP Entrance Exam given by the NAPOLCOM. It has more scheduled dates but you still need to apply using the OLEASS and bring the requirements listed above.     AFPSAT is an acronym for The Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test. It is the unified written entrance examination that is utilized in the initial recruitment and selection process for entry into the major services ‐ Army, Air Force, and Navy. You need to pass this exam to be qualified to apply for any military position.

    But before proceeding to take the AFPSAT, you can read if you are qualified to apply either in the Philippine Army, Air Force or the Navy so your efforts won’t be wasted.

    Basic Requirements:

    Prepare the following basic requirements for the AFPSAT:

    • Birth Certificate (PSA)
    • Original Transcript of Records and Diploma (for College degree holders)
    • Original diploma with Form 137-A ( for high school graduate applicants but with Tesda or Vocational course certificate – NCII)

    AFPSAT Coverage 

    AFPSAT has three subtests which are the following:

    • Abstract Reasoning– a nonverbal, non-numerical measure of reasoning power. It measures the ability to see the relationships among things- objects, patterns or designs rather than among words and numbers. 50 items for 12 minutes.
    • Verbal Reasoning– measures the ability to reason and solve problems through the concept of words by comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary recognition. 65 items for 30 minutes.
    • Numerical Reasoning– measures the ability to reason and solve problems with numbers, and other mathematical concepts. 35 items for 35 minutes.

    AFPSAT result shall be valid for a period of three (3) years. Retake shall only be allowed once for an applicant and it shall be conducted at least six (6) months after the initial examination.

    Qualification Standards for  Fire Officer 1

    No person shall be appointed as uniformed personnel of the BFP unless he/she possesses the following qualifications:
    • A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
    • A person of good moral character;
    • Must have passed the psychiatric / psychological, drug and physical tests;
    • Must possess the Second Level Eligibility;
    • Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for case from previous employment;
    • Must be at least 1.62 meter height for male and and 1.57 meter for female;
    • Must weigh no more or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;

    Autosweep and Easytrip RFID are now necessary for everyone due to the new cashless transaction being introduced for motorists going through expressways and major toll roads

    Autosweep RFID is under San Miguel Corporation and can only be used at Skyway, SLEX, NAIAX, STAR Tollway, MCX, and TPLEX. While Easytrip RFID is under the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) which is used in NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, CALAX and C5 link Flyover.

    Reloading Autosweep and Easytrip Online

    There are many ways to load both your Autosweep and Easytrip online. You can do so using BDO Online, BPI Online, Gcash, Paymaya, Union Bank, Maybank, etc.

    How to load Autosweep and Easytrip via BPI online?

    You can use your BPI online app to reload your RFID account. A P10 transaction fee will be deducted from your account. To do so, make sure you download the BPI mobile application.

    1. Sign in to your account.
    2. Click the menu bar on the upper left and Choose Payments/Load.
    3. Select Load e-wallet.
    4. Choose as to what you want to reload, either your autosweep or easytrip.
    5. Fill out the form accurately by inputting your details like your plate number and the amount to load.
    6. Enter your One Time Pin (OTP) and a notification will be sent to you if your transaction is successful.

    How to load Easytrip using BDO online?

    You can also reload your easytrip using BDO mobile banking app for free. Here are the steps:

    1. Go to BDO Mobile Banking and sign in to your account.
    2. Click ENROLLMENT > COMPANY/BILLER > Enroll then EASYTRIP SERVICE CORPORATION.
    3. Select Channels for enrollment: Online/Mobile Banking or Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
    4. Complete the form and then Submit.
    5. Once enrollment is done, you can now go to Pay Bills and Reload > Bills Payment > Pay Bills.
    6. It will be credited after 24 hours.

    How to load your Easytrip/Autosweep RFID account via Paymaya?

    Paymaya is one of the options in reloading your Autosweep and Easytrip RFID account. It will charge a P10 convenience fee for your transaction.

    1. Visit the Paymaya app and Go to Bills section.

    3. Enter your account number and the amount you want to load.
