He appeared on Broken Vows as Ezra, played a police officer on Isithembiso and played as a Doctor on The River. In 2014 and 2015 he had cameo roles, firstly on Zabalaza and then Umlilo respectively.

    In 2018 he was cast as a Gang member by the name of Frank on Hope. Then from 2017 to 2019 he played the role of Dos Santos on The Queen alongside Hlomla Dandala, the very same year he was cast as Francis on Gomora. 2021 was a great year for Jerome, he appeared on House Wives and Binnelanders. He is also going to make his debut appearance on Scandal etv as Dr Nyasha Mugari on 28 December 2021

    For Jerome Galiao, life was not always easy when he relocated to South Africa about 13 years ago. He struggled to get sustainable roles. He appeared on so many roles and sometimes it was just dry. Things got so tough that he even worked as a waiter in restaurants and a barman. He ended up thinking of giving up, packing his bags and return Kumusha (home). When lockdown strikes things were worse but he kept holding on until now. Now he has landed a role on one of the most watched South African television series and it looks like its promising.

    “Then lockdown happened and there was absolutely no work, but I kept on hanging in there and I am really proud I kept on hanging.”

    “I believe that with consistency and persistence, anyone can achieve anything. It’s all about pushing the right mindset. I see myself being cast in bigger international productions. I see big awards coming home,” he said.

    In 2019 Macdonald was arrested by the Hawks for extortion, kidnapping, theft, and corruption. He was later released after the Hawks withdrew his charges upon further investigation. The spokesman of the Hawks reassured that the charges were to be reinstated if further investigations show the actor had any involvement in the crime. The accusations against Ndou was; he and his other two cronies were trying to extort R100 000 from a businessman pretending to be a police officer. It is claimed the trio pretended to be policemen to receive a bribe from the businessman, who they allegedly believe is illegally dealing diamonds.

    After this Muvhango released a statement that shows that they still valued their acting member Mr Ndou. In a statement, Muvhango Management said: “Muvhango is aware of the allegations leveled against our cast member, Macdonald Ndou,…We are aware he has been apprehended and awaiting court appearance. Currently, we at Muvhango have no inside information regarding Mr Ndou’s case and are waiting for further details from the law enforcement…” ²

    Kgaogelo Rathete Sekgota was born in Seshego-B, Polokwane on the 22nd of June 1997. He is only 24 years old as of 2021. Kgaogelo played for some overseas teams like Vitoria Setubal FC.     Kgaogelo Sekgota began playing professional football somewhere before 2012. The team he played for is unbeknownst. However, in 2012 he was to join Polokwane United and his youth career began. After joining Polokwane United he spent nearly 5 years with them and left in 2017.

    This was the end of his youth career. Sekgotha then joined Stumbras on March the 30th in 2017. He spent 2 years with the team and was transferred to Vitoria Setubal in 2019. From there he was transferred to Bidvest Wits FC in 2020. However, later that year, Vitoria took him back only to lose him to Baroka Swallows a few months later. In July of 2021, Kaizer Chiefs bought Kgaogelo into their team with Jersey number 14. He plays the right winger or midfielder for the team.

    Thato Molamu is a 37 years old South African actor and entrepreneur born in Mafikeng, North West Province in South Africa. His love for acting started at tender age and never gave up until his television debut. He is a single father of two children. Thato has been involved in a relationship with Bongi Ndaba who is 10 years older than him. Their relationship was blessed with a baby boy. He also dated Xoli Zondi who played Zodwa on Generations. The star owns a luxurious Jaguar, a car he was arrested in for drunk driving.

    Acting career

    Molamu started as a regular actor at the North West Arts Festival where he developed more love for acting. He was featured in theatre and musical productions including Hamlet, A Midsumer Nights Dream in 2001, Romeo and Juliet in 2008, and Meropa in 2006. He became a prominent actor when he was casted as Nicholas Nomvete on Generations, a spoit brat and devious character. He joined Generations in 2011 and left in 2014. He also played recurring roles on other South African television series and shows. This includes playing Tshepo on Inters.exions, TK Morare on Umlilo, Tshepang in Mfolozi Street Season 2, Maru Makhetha on Greed and Desire and in 2019 he appeared on Losing Lerato.

    He was also casted on The Queen as ‘Bakang Nkwe,’ a triumphant lawyer who is handsome, charming, and scores well with ladies. Aside from acting Thato is a skilled radio and television presenter. He was featured in commercial work. Thato hosted radio show on East Coast Radio in Durban, hosted a TV game show called Whats Behind Wall and co-hosted in the Mzani Magic Entertainment magazine program alongside Nomalanga Shozi in 2016. In 2021 he was casted on 1Magic drama called Lingashoni as Papi Zulu.

    Early age of Leleti Khumalo

    Leleti Khumalo was born in Kwamashu township north of Durban, South Africa. She was born alongside three siblings mainly by her mother and she lost her father at the age of three. Although she grew up in abject poverty with a domestic labourer mother trying to make things work for her and the siblings, she found joy in performing since she was a little child. She was described as a born performer. [1]

    Leleti developed her skills in performing As she joined a youth backyard dance group called Amajika, mentored by Tu Nokwe. In 1985 she auditioned for the Mbongeni Ngema musical which was to become the international blockbuster Sarafina. Norma wrote the lead Character of Sarafina for Khumalo and was previously married to him.

    Khumalo performed the role Sarafina on stages in South Africa and on Broadway. Where she received a 1988 Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a musical. In 1993 she released her first album Leleti and Sarafina. Sarafina was ‘re-released in South Africa on 16 June 2006 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the youth uprisings in Soweto.

    Career of Leleti Khumalo

    Leleti wanted to pursue acting from early age.She began her career in music and acting when she joined a Youth group dance Amajika. During this time Tu Nokwe mentored the budding actor. When she was 15 years old her journey from obscurity to stadorm began. The actor, musician and playwright Mbongeni Ngema while scoating for talent visited a garage where her youth group was performing.

    After seeing her potential he inquired whether she could feature in one of his plays. She said “yes!” and Ngema drafted him into his Sarafina cast, one of his musical productions. From there her career and personal life were never the same. Eventually, she became a global sensation and married Ngema. At that point, the two, Ngema and Leleti were meant for each other. Ngema delighted in performance and she was born a dancer and performer. However marital stress led out to a falling of the two and culminated in divorce in 2005.

    Other notable movies she featured in include Hotel Rwanda (2004) a historical drama documenting the Rwanda genocide in 1994. The very same year she started in Yesterday, a film about the struggles of young HIV-positive mothers. Her role in the movie was instrumental, as it received rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival and won an award in the Pune International Film Festival.

    Acting Career of Small screen

    She then decided to take on the small screen in 2005 and joined the cast of Generations. She played the role Busiswe Dlomo, the sister of A power-hungry businessman. In 2015 She joined the cast of Uzalo and played as Zandile Manzuza . The role marked her first on screen appearance after a two year hiatus from acting to raise her Children. That did not stop her from her acting. She soon landed herself on one of the Mzansi’s big telenovela Imbewu, where she currently plays Mazulu.
