Eligibility for the International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarship:
- Applicants can be both Home and Overseas fee payers, their funding status is not considered for this award.
- Students must have received an Unconditional offer of admission for entry to the University of Essex for 2023-24 and must actively make Essex their firm choice.
- Students must register for a full-time undergraduate degree* at the University of Essex with the first enrolment at the University of Essex in 2023-24.
- Candidates should be commencing studies in Year 0 or Year 1 at the University of Essex in 2023-24.
- Students must have obtained 34 points or above in the International Baccalaureate.
Value of the scholarship:
The scholarship is worth £2,000 for the first year of study only. Payment will be made in two installments, normally in February and May by bank transfer.
How to apply?
If candidates meet all the eligibility criteria, they will automatically be considered for this award. They don’t need to complete an application form.
