    Australia’s Got Talent is a reality TV talent show of Australia, debuted on 18 February 2007. It is on the lines of the Got Talent series format of the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell.

    After an effective first season, the second season came in April 2008. The 6th season was the final one to be broadcast on Seven. Season seven started on the Nine Network and started airing from the month of August 2013. In the month of December 2018, Seven declared the series would be back to their network in 2019 for the ninth season.

    AUSTRALIA’S GOT TALENT AUDITIONS STORYLINE:

    It is a show that demonstrates the abilities of highly trained and gifted individuals in the form of vocalists, artists, entertainers, comedians and different entertainers of any age with a winning prize of A$250,000

    During the first season, there were four heats which saw around 25 acts contending in each heat. Around 60 acts altogether got the nod from the judges, yet just 40 were chosen to contend in the semi-finals.     About the Show

    NCIS: Los Angeles (Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Los Angeles) is an American police procedural television series created by Shane Brennan as a spin-off of NCIS and set in the high stakes world of the Office of Special Projects, a division of NCIS that is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to America’s security.

    Armed with the latest in high tech gear and sent regularly into life-threatening situations, this tight-knit unit relies on each other to do what is necessary to protect national interests.

    MasterChef South Africa is the South African version of the television cooking game show franchise MasterChef. It was originally filmed on the Nederburg Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape and judged by Pete Goffe-Wood, Benny Masekwameng, Reuben Riffel and Andrew Atkinson, up to the third season. The series’ first run was from March 2012 – May 2015.

    Format

    Preliminaries

    Of all the amateur chefs who audition nationwide, one hundred are chosen to cook their signature dish for the three judges. Each judge takes a taste of the dish and gives his opinion before voting a “yes” or a “no”. At least two “yes” votes are required to earn a white MasterChef apron, allowing the competitor to advance.

    Mystery Box challenge

    In the Mystery Box challenge, contestants receive a number of ingredients of which they are to make a dish of their choice. The contestants have to use all the ingredients in the box. Once the dishes are finished, the judges taste all the dishes. The winner receives an advantage in the following elimination challenge.

    Off-site team challenge

    The off-site team challenge involves the contestants being split into two teams, blue and red, which consist of equal numbers and are given a task, for example, running a restaurant or catering for a party or wedding (similar to Gordon Ramsay’s other series, Hell’s Kitchen). After the task has been completed, the teams are given the results, which can be determined by third party votes. Members of the losing team compete in an elimination challenge.

    Pressure test

    A “pressure test” challenge involves competitors who failed in a previous challenge (i.e. the three worst performers in an individual challenge or the losing team in a group challenge). The competitors are given a dish that they then must create in a particular time frame. Once the contestants have finished cooking, the dishes are taken to the judges to be tasted, who then criticize, vote and eliminate one or more contestants.

    1. The Blind Auditions
    • The Battle round
    • The Live Shows.
    • The blind Audition: the blind audition is the first stage of the voice of Nigeria. Here all performing artistes and the coaches will have to turn their back against the contestant, at this point the contestant will start singing for just 1 and 30 minds. Immediately the time elapse the coaches will ask the contestant to stop while they decides if they want him or her in their team.

    Note: at this stage (the blind audition) each coach is expected to have at most 12 talents in their team.

    • The Battle round: in this state each talent are usually paired into two by the coach. A song is given to them to sing and at the end of the song the coach will decide to pick one talent while the other talent might be stolen by their opponent or have to exit.

    Note: Each coach has just only 2 steals.

    • The Live Shows: here a talent is assigned a song to perform. Please note that at this stage the coach has 4 Talents and he only has the opportunity to save just one while the rest will be decided by the public…through a transparent voting system.

    When it’s time for your Virtual Open Call audition:

    • On the day of the Virtual Open Call audition, log in to your Artist Account.
    • Participants will see the Virtual Open Call screen just below their name and Artist Account number. If you arrive early, you’ll see the countdown timer.
    • When it’s your turn to audition, click the blue button to begin your audition. You’ll have a 10-second countdown before the recording begins.
    • Once the recording begins, introduce yourself, tell us what song you will be singing, then start singing!
    • Once you submit your audition, a member of the Voice Casting Team will review your audition.
    • You will receive an email with your audition results shortly after you submit them. You can also find your results by logging in to your Artist Account.

    1. “Choose a cover song that best represents you as an artist and matches your vocal and performance style.
    2. Dress to impress! Wear what you would wear if you were to land a “Blind Audition.”
    3. Remember to have fun! Show us your personality and energy. We want to see you PERFORM!
    4. You may sing to a track, accompany yourself on an instrument, or have someone else accompany you.
    5. Please use a high-quality recording device such as a camera, MAC, PC, iPhone, or an Android Galaxy Smartphone.
    6. If you do not have a mic, make sure your recording device is close enough to get clear clean audio.
    7. If you are using recording equipment, please avoid overly using reverb, compression, and tuning/vocal enhancers. We want to hear from you, not an edited version of you.
    8. Be sure to record your performance video in a place with minimal sounds and distractions (e.g. unexpected sounds like a dog barking, a baby crying, or loud neighbors). We don’t need any visual effects, props, or anything that would distract from your performance.
    9. Test your sound and video. Can you be heard clearly? Is the sound distorted? Maybe you’re too close or too far from the microphone. Adjust and test again.
    10. Natural Reverb – We all love a room with reverb/echo, but it can sometimes be too much. If it sounds like you’re in a cave, rethink the space.
    11. Please record in a clean & clear location (e.g., no dirty dishes, laundry, or unmade beds behind you). Your roommate or family member should NOT be on the couch eating chips or watching TV while you are recording your audition.
    12. Make sure you are well-lit, especially on your face (lamps or natural light work best). Make sure the light is in front of you. DO NOT HAVE LIGHTING BEHIND YOU.
    13. Make sure you frame the camera so we have a full view of your performance. Don’t cut off your head, put the camera too close, or with a view up your nose. Make sure the camera is in focus”.
