USA SAT Exam Overview

• SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test.
• It is a standardized exam that evaluates the mathematical, reading & writing prowess of a student.

USA SAT Exam Eligibility

• In the United States, candidates take this exam in their 11th or 12th Grades (Junior and Senior).
• There is no age limit.
• Candidates’ age must be around 17-18 years in order to register for this test.
• For International and Indian Candidates: The only acceptable form of identification has to be a valid passport with your name, photograph along with your signature.
• One needs a debit/credit card along with international currency support enabled so as to be able to get registered for this exam.
• A valid Indian passport is needed to appear in this test.

How to Register for SAT Exam Online

• Sign in to your College Board account.
• Your parent or any other person can’t register for you. It is only you who can register for this test.
• Having logged into your account, enter your full, legal name & other identifying details.
• Make sure it is the exact same name & details given on your photo ID.
• Then you will have to decide whether to sign up for this test with an Essay or without Essay.
• Upload a photo that must be meeting very specific photo requirements.
• Check out, & take the printout of your Admission Ticket.

SAT Exam Registration Fees:

• The basic fee for this test is $52, but it varies according to the country in which the applicants are residing.
• For Indian applicants, the fee to register for this test happens to be $106 (including written essay), or $94 (excluding essay).
• Apart from the general SAT, you can also appear for subject SATs which has its own benefits.
• The fee for subject SATs can be $111.
