We are pleased to inform you about My PNG Exam Results 2025-2026 | Grades 10 & Grade 12

The PNG Department of Education and Measurement Services Division (MSD) initiated My PNG Exam Results website. This is the website Grade 10 and 12 students in the country use for checking the 2022 results. It is wholly paid for by the NDoE/MSD and run by a group called Pure Maths.

This article will help you understand the exam, marking and exam data as you anticipate the  My PNG Exam Results 2025-2026 and what to do if you have problems logging in.

Check Grade 10 and Grade 12 Exam Results 2022

PNG Insight has covered this topic extensively in the past four years. It has been a source of information for the Grades 10 and 12 students in the country.

You can watch the video on the PNG Insight YouTube channel or the embedded video below. It shows Grade 10 and Grade 12 students how to login to the PNG Exam Results website and what to do with their results.

What does My PNG Exam results website do?

The PNG Exam Results website is an online platform for checking the Grade 10 and Grade 12 provisional exam marks. It also has the capability for MDS data officers and provincial exam coordinators can input data into the system – but these functions have not been fully utilized at present.

The online results website started in 2018. This year will be the 5th year running.

In brief, exam data sheets enter the MSD office after marking Grade 10 and Grade 12 exams and also from the schools in the country. The Students’ Data from the internal school-based assessments and external examinations are manually entered, checked, re-checked and finalized for the final Grade 10 and Grade 12 results.

It is intensive work that the MSD officers and schools do to ensure all the marks, grades and certificates are ready.

My PNG Exam Result Website (www.mypngexamresults.com)

An external developer controls the backhand of the Exam Results website. They upload the Grade 10 and Grade 12 students’ examination data files to the website. This happens after MSD’s checks and balances. It is the final step before the students can check their results online.

MSD does most of the work as it is its responsibility.

Notably, the website’s URL does not have .gov.pg like the NDoE website (www.education.gov.pg) and other government departments do.

As mentioned, the platform belongs to the NDoE and houses the Grade 12 and Grade 10 examination data. But, hosted on a different WEB-HOST and URL.

It is a matter for the education department to localize the HOST and URL. Hence, localizing the students’ data.

    0

    Official PNG Exam Results and Selections 2025-2026 | Grade 10 & 12

We are pleased to inform you about PNG Exam Results and Selections 2025-2026 | Grade 10 & 12

The education secretary in a newspaper report said that the Grade 10 exam results for 2023 should be ready.

Understandably, the 2023 Grade 11 selection follows closely after the release of the results. This means that the selections for Grade 11 will take place between Monday the 5th – Friday the 9th of December 2022. It will take a few days for the education secretary to sight and sign the selection list. So, expect the final Grade 11 selection list 2023 to be available on the education department website 5 – 7 days after the selection.

Here is further information on How to Check the Grade 10 Exam Results and How the Grade 11 Selection Takes Place.

    Grade 12 Exam Results

The Grade 12 exam results for 2022 will be released by the Measurement Services Division of the Education Department to the Department of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (DHERST) by Sunday the 11th of December 2022.

If you are a grade 12 student, it is important to check your results as soon as the results are available online so that you can make changes to your online School Leavers’ choices.

Usually, DHERST gives five days Grace Period for students to make adjustment/s before the National Online Selection kicks in

    Grade 12 DHERST selections 2023

PNG Insight has been following the Grade 12 DHERST National Online Selection System (NOSS) since it started in 2017/2018 and knows that online selection is the best thing spearheaded by the former higher education secretary.
In the last two years (2020 & 2021), there were administrative errors that caused a lot of inconvenience. Some of you will remember that the selection lists were recalled, updated, and republished – this should be avoided.
NOSS is fast. It takes just hours for the selection to be done automatically online. The results can be available the next day.
As mentioned earlier, the Education Department will release the Grade 12 results to DHERST on the 11th of December 2022. The higher education department will then verify the data from the education department before uploading it onto NOSS for the selection to take place.

Grace Period – Grade 12 students

For Grade 12 students, you will have five days to check your marks and make adjustments to initial choices for the higher institutions.
You will be using two (different) systems – one from the education department and the other from the higher education department.
    • To check your 2022 exam results, use the MyPNGExamResults website run by MSD. (MyPNGExamResults website – mypngexamresults.com)
    • And to adjust your results, use the DHERST NOAS, National Online Application System. (DHERST NOSS platform – apply.dherst.gov.pg)

What DHERST say about the Grade Period 2022

This is the statement from the DHERST NOSS platform – apply.dherst.gov.pg

”Students are strongly reminded to access their NOAS accounts during the grace period which will eventuate on the 12th – 15th of December 2022. This is a crucial period where you will start making your choices based on your final grade 12 results hence make sure to access your account during the mentioned dates.”

    Here is what to do

”If you see red highlight indicated in any of your five choices under “My Choices”, this means that your final result has not met the minimum programme requirement set by the institution. Therefore, you must change the red highlighted choice to a different programme that is available in your programme list.”

Important dates for Grade 12 students

Do take note of the important remaining dates:

    • Launching of 2022 selection for the 2023 academic year – Wednesday, 21st December 2022
    • NOAS Grace Period Monday, 12th December – Thursday, 15th  December 2022
    • Grade 12 national examinations –  Monday, 17th October – Friday, 21st  October 2022 – DONE
    • Students apply for tertiary programmes – Monday, 5th September 2022 – Friday, 9th of December 2022 – DONE

Conclusion (2022 Grade 12 and 10 Exam Results and Selection Dates)

In closing, PNG Insight would like to wish all the Grade 10 and Grade 12 students the best in life.

PNG 8,000 seasonal workers by 2025

    1

    Official PNG 8,000 seasonal workers

We are pleased to inform you about PNG’s 8,000 seasonal workers

Since 2011 Papua New Guinea (PNG) has struggled to increase its participation in Australia’s Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP) and New Zealand’s Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme. In response, the PNG Government established an independent Labour Mobility Unit (LMU) in 2019 to boost its participation and send over 8,000 workers by 2025.

The LMU partners with Provincial Governments and District Administrations to achieve that goal through a decentralised Regional Recruitment model. Under this model, there have been a few early wins with around 48 workers mobilised since late 2019 and another 184 workers that were due for mobilisation in March this year but were unable to travel due to COVID-19.

This paper highlights some of PNG’s adaptations in its new recruitment model and focuses on current recruitment pathways, rural community participation, funding support to reduce mobilisation costs, trusted intermediaries, and the need for a national labour mobility policy.
