We are pleased to inform you about DHERST NOAS Online Application 2025-2026 | Form, Requirements & dates
DHERST 2022 Online SLF Application for Grade 12 presents Grade 12 students in a privileged position to make the right choices for their Grade 12 School Leavers.
Firstly, the National Online Application  System (NOAS) gives the students the right choice upfront by highlighting (in red) the ‘ineligible’ options. There is no room for getting the choices wrong.
Secondly, the students have 5 choices. That means 5 chances of getting into a tertiary institution.

    National Online Application  System (NOAS)

In the past, Grade 12 students did not have the chance to change their choices after they filled out the manual School Leaver’s Form (SLF). Not do the past students have 5 choices, but they were limited to only 3 choices.
Here is a post about DHERST Selections that provides information for Schools Leavers and Non-School levers.
So, here is how you (Grade 12 students) can make full use of the Grace Period and maximize your chances of securing a space for 2023.

Launching of 2022 selection for the 2023 academic year

The online selection via DHERST’s National Online Selections System (NOSS) will kick in and do the magic in 3 days.
Last year (2021), DHERST planned to launch the 2022 selections for the academic year on Tuesday 21 December 2021. But, there were administrative issues that prompted the Department of Higher Education to re-call, update and republish the selection listing.

How to Check Your 2022 Grade 12 Exam Marks

By now, you should know your Grade 12 exam marks. The marks are accessible through My PNG Exam Results website.
Note that DHERST does not display the Grade 12 students’ exam marks.
The 2022 Grade 12 students should now be able to access their results which came out on the 11th of December 2022.

NOAS remains the property of the National Government of Papua New Guinea and is administered by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.

NOAS facilitates national admissions and selections into higher education institutions in PNG. This portal facilitates Grade 12 school-leaver applications.

We are pleased to inform you about My PNG Exam Results 2025-2026 | Grades 10 & Grade 12

The PNG Department of Education and Measurement Services Division (MSD) initiated My PNG Exam Results website. This is the website Grade 10 and 12 students in the country use for checking the 2022 results. It is wholly paid for by the NDoE/MSD and run by a group called Pure Maths.

This article will help you understand the exam, marking and exam data as you anticipate the  My PNG Exam Results 2025-2026 and what to do if you have problems logging in.

Check Grade 10 and Grade 12 Exam Results 2022

PNG Insight has covered this topic extensively in the past four years. It has been a source of information for the Grades 10 and 12 students in the country.

You can watch the video on the PNG Insight YouTube channel or the embedded video below. It shows Grade 10 and Grade 12 students how to login to the PNG Exam Results website and what to do with their results.

What does My PNG Exam results website do?

The PNG Exam Results website is an online platform for checking the Grade 10 and Grade 12 provisional exam marks. It also has the capability for MDS data officers and provincial exam coordinators can input data into the system – but these functions have not been fully utilized at present.

The online results website started in 2018. This year will be the 5th year running.

In brief, exam data sheets enter the MSD office after marking Grade 10 and Grade 12 exams and also from the schools in the country. The Students’ Data from the internal school-based assessments and external examinations are manually entered, checked, re-checked and finalized for the final Grade 10 and Grade 12 results.

It is intensive work that the MSD officers and schools do to ensure all the marks, grades and certificates are ready.

My PNG Exam Result Website (www.mypngexamresults.com)

An external developer controls the backhand of the Exam Results website. They upload the Grade 10 and Grade 12 students’ examination data files to the website. This happens after MSD’s checks and balances. It is the final step before the students can check their results online.

MSD does most of the work as it is its responsibility.

Notably, the website’s URL does not have .gov.pg like the NDoE website (www.education.gov.pg) and other government departments do.

As mentioned, the platform belongs to the NDoE and houses the Grade 12 and Grade 10 examination data. But, hosted on a different WEB-HOST and URL.

It is a matter for the education department to localize the HOST and URL. Hence, localizing the students’ data.

Important update re. 2023 DHERST selections LISTS

We’ve realised that DHERST ‘unpublished’ the Non-School Leavers Selection List that they released on the 21st of December 2022. No reason has been given.
We also receive comments from our visitors asking for ‘some’ university programs and colleges that have not appeared on the list. It is something that DHERST will have to check at their end.
