Sello is a product of theatre which ironed him to become a great actor he is today. He appeared in dozens of theatre productions in the 90s including Street Cleaners (1990), The Awakening (1991), The Good Woman of Sharkville (1996, The Cherry Orchard (1997), Master Harold And The Boys (1998), Cold Stone Jug (2004) and Socks & Toothpaste, in 2006. He played Mpumi in the e.tv soapie Backstage, playing the role for 18 months. Then 2007 he played the role of Kutloano in the controversial SABC1 mini-series After Nine and played the lead role in a one-hour drama broadcast on SABC1 on Christmas Eve 2007, called Second Chance.

After this the star appeared on more television series and films such as Lithapo, Rhythm City, on films like Invictus, Canadian mini-series Human Cargo, in 2004. In 2012 he was the lead role in an episode of the e.tv drama series eKasi: Our Stories.
He was nominated for an M-Net All-Africa Film Award in the category Best Supporting Actor for his role in Chikin Biznis, in 1998.¹ In 2021 Sello started to look for a job n acting and luckily he landed a role on SABC 3 drama as Elias Nkosi on The Estate. Elias is a father in his 50s who is a serious businessman.

Lebohang Mpyana started her acting career in her community where people looked down on their work since they didn’t consider acting to be a career but a joke. She then land herself a role of Sylvia on Thobela FM drama called Mahlakung and her community friends started to take acting seriously. Lebo was also an advertiser on Moletjie FM.

In 2019 she auditioned for Khelina on Diep City to producer Mandla N via Instagram live video. She waited for two years, that is until 2021 before receiving a call back from Diep City producers. In 2021 Lebohang Mpyana received a call from Diep City produced by Black Brain pictures that she had a role and the television series will be starting in April thus she made her debut tv appearance. ¹

Masilo Magoro was born in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province in South Africa. He grew up in Lenyenye, Tzaneen with his two older brothers. His mother worked as a nurse for Dr Mamphela Ramphele. They then moved to Johannesburg and joined his father.

In the 1980s while still in high school, Masilo got involved with a political student body that also did cultural events. This is where he first tasted stage as a performer, playing a soldier of the old South African regime. He also got a standing ovation for playing Sgt Spikiri in a stage play at a school drama festival.

In 2012 he also acted as Morena Lerole, the father of Baksteen (Innocent Masuku), in the SABC1 drama series Tshisa. He played a lead role on season two of Skeem Saam as Charles Kunutu (Rachel’s uncle) in 2013 until season ten.
