Prepare, Prepare, Prepare.

There is no such thing as being too prepared for an audition — but that’s a tricky thing to say when you don’t always know what to expect, or what casting directors will ask of you. So your best bet is to prepare everything. But don’t worry, this isn’t as overwhelming as it sounds.

Practice, practice, and practice more until you are comfortable and confident in delivering your material. Make sure that what you prepare truly shows off your strengths. Record 30-60 second clips of singing, dancing, and acting clips that show your range, showcase your voice, and resonate with your audience.

It’s great to have these clips on hand to share with agents and casting directors when looking for opportunities. But preparing them also means you’ll know them well enough to perform them on the spot if asked to do so during your audition.

Show Your Personality

Disney Channel casting expert Lisa London explains that casting directors look at your personality as much as your talent. They want to experience the way you would talk with your friends and family, and to get a sense of who you really are. Here are some tips for showing your personality during an audition:

Be thorough when answering questions, rather than just giving a yes or no response.
Dress appropriately, yet make sure that what you wear has a flare that represents your personality.
Listen to your instincts when reading an audition script and let your intuition guide you to make the character personal to you. Casting directors can sense when you’ve made a personal connection to a character and can develop that character throughout your audition.
Make eye contact, smile, and have confident body language. Remember that most your personality won’t be conveyed in what you say, but rather in how you say it.

Remember, casting directors work with actors professionally. They know when someone is acting and when they are being their true selves. So don’t pretend to be someone you’re not — just make sure you are putting your best foot forward.

Know All of Your Options

The Walt Disney Company is the largest entertainment conglomerate in the world. While this makes it one of the most coveted and competitive roles, it also means that there may be more opportunities than you think.

Disney owns dozens of networks and channels. So rather than limiting your goals only to Disney Channel Original Movies or shows that air on The Disney Channel, auditioning for one of the networks Disney owns is a great way to get your foot in the Disney door.

You have to be proactive in your approach to a Disney audition, and doing your research is the best way to do that. Your research should be two-fold. Look up open casting calls in different cities. These can be found in local newspapers or on Disneychannel.com. If you find an open casting opportunity in a smaller, less populated city, you have a better chance of being selected. Additionally, local casting calls require less travel and money than heading to Hollywood. You should also be proactively looking up casting directors for current Disney shows. You can send them your headshot, resume, and any clips you have. It might be a long shot to expect them to reach out to you, but when you do get an audition in front of them, they will be familiar with who you are.

Don’t give up!

This is the most challenging — but the most important — part of your Disney Channel audition experience. It does take hard work and persistence to make your dream a reality, but it’s only possible if you don’t give up.

American Idol has released the summer audition schedule for the 2020 season. Eligibility rules have not changed since last year. Click for a full FAQ. Alas. About De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt(DHT)

De9jaspirit Talent Hunt is a Nigerian talent hunt show aimed at discovering, showcasing and celebrating talents in Nigeria. It was launched in 2021 and is now aired on television stations such as Soundcity and Wazobia TV.

The maiden edition of De9jaspirit was hosted by Stephanie Coker and season 2 was hosted by VJ Adams. The judges are Nollywood Actress Ini Edo, Nigerian Singer Dr Sid, Nollywood Actor IK Ogbonna, and Comedian Buchi who has now been replaced with Big Brother Naija season 6 (Shine your eye) 1st runner-up Liquorose Afije.

The registration fee is set for a fixed amount of 2,200 Naira. During the live show, each Judge has a DTH Royalty ticket. For any contestant to get the ticket they need to win the judge’s heart with an exceptional performance. The viewers and fans are allowed to vote for the best performance of the week from among the nominated contestants on the DTH App for free. De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt commenced registration for the 2023 Edition (Season 3) in June 2023. The first prize winner will get a prize of 10 million Naira cash, a 5-day trip to Kenya and Maldives (all expenses covered), and a brand-new car. The first runner-up will get a cash prize of 3 million Naira, while the second runner-up will get a cash prize of two million Naira.

Season 3 of the De9jaspirit Talent Hunt was moved to Calabar International Convention Centre which is bigger than the previous venue with a 3,000 capacity, the live show which kick started on the 29th of August 2023 and lasted for 10 weeks witnessed a record attendance of 3,000 people during weekly performances and 5,000 people at the grand finale, it was aired on Soundcity TV. The show host remained VJ Adams and all four judges from the previous season were retained with Reekado Banks and Real Warri Pikin coming in as guest judges.

Exoduz Dance crew emerged winners of the season 3. The three person dance crew consists of Goodluck Imeh Thomas (the leader), John Joseph Akpan, and the audience’s favourite six-year-old Chikambo Annabel Obioma. They got a cash prize of 10 million Naira, a brand-new car, and an all-expense paid trip to Kenya and the Maldives.

The first runner-up was the singer Bisiryu Abraham Adeyemo, popularly known by his stage name, Mollythevibe. He got a cash prize of three million Naira. The 2nd runner-up was another crowd-favourite, Promise Effiong, He got a prize of two million Naira.

It’s been years since Muvhango held open auditions for new roles and now they’re reviving their open castings to coincide with the show’s 25th anniversary.

This is who they’re looking for:

– Male actors between the ages of 30 and 40,
– Female actresses who are 50+.

You need to be able to speak TshiVenda and/or Pedi.

They’re looking to cast two new roles specifically.

According to Word of Mouth productions, they’ll be looking out for talent for future characters too.

Venue: Phalaphala FM in Polokwane

Friday 9 September 2025-2026
Venue: MGB Hotel in Sibasa, Thohoyandou

Auditions start at 09h00 and the audition material will be available at the venue.

Deal Or No Deal Casting

In this show, contestants have to choose one out of twenty-six briefcases. Moreover, in each briefcase, there is money from $0.01 to $1,000,000. In each case, the contestant has eliminated one box. Participant has to make a deal or no deal till the end. And, the only briefcase left is the deal, the winning amount. What an interesting game show. I am sure every single person out there is vouching for the show. In order to participate you must audition first. So In this article, we are going to cover, deal or no-deal casting.

Every viewer wishes to be a contestant in the most amazing game show. But the question is how? Well, One can apply online for the show during its run. Also, there is also open casting call for the show. Choose the desired form.

Deal or no deal Game

Deal or no deal game is a very popular show all across the globe. This show gives the contestants a lifetime opportunity to win cash prizes in millions. We are not sure yet whether there is going to be a deal or no deal in 2025-2026 . CNBC has not given any statement yet. It is hard to jump into at this moment. However, it is surprising that the YouTube channel is uploading episodes regularly. The YouTube channel is called “Deal or No Deal universe” You can go to the channel and enjoy the episodes.
