Dr. Nandipha, commonly known as Nandipha Sekeleni Magudumana, is a South African physician and businesswoman who was born in 1989.

She was reared in Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, but was born in the small village of Bizana in the Eastern Cape. Since the age of six, Dr. Nandipha has had a desire to become a doctor. [1]

She is a medical professional with a focus on aesthetics, including dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and pharmaceuticals. She worked at Edenvale Hospital in 2014 and 2015 before finding employment at the Far East Rand Hospital. In Morningside, Sandton, Johannesburg, she established Optimum Medical Aesthetics Solutions, an aesthetic and skincare center. The clinic provides non-invasive medical care. However, it seems all isn’t well in her marriage as the celebrity doctor was spotted with another man known as Thabo Bester. [2]

Due to her suspected connections to Facebook rapist Thabo Bester, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s private life has recently been under scrutiny.

Bester allegedly perished in custody in May 2022 when a fire broke out in his cell at the Mangaung Correctional Center. But two months after his reported demise, Dr. Nandipha was spotted with a person who resembled Bester at the Sandton City Woolworths. Bester was seen with a little child that resembled Dr. Nandipha’s daughter in the images that went viral.

Nkosinathi Sekeleni, Dr. Nandipha’s brother, fired her for having an affair with Bester. Additionally, it is alleged that Dr. Nandipha utilized her business, Optimum Medical Solutions, to launder money for Bester.

Magudumana’s arrest

While fugitives in Tanzania, Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester were apprehended on April 7, 2023. They had numerous passports bearing various identities. The medical professional was detained while traveling as Martha Patience Mmerika Ntashani, a true anesthetist with a practice in Pretoria, South Africa. Tommy William Kelly, an American citizen, was one of the several aliases that Thabo used while traveling. Zakaria Alberto, a Mozambican citizen who was also detained, was helping the couple. [3]
