    UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING

    UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING PTY LTD is a private HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION registered as such by the DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING.  Its nursing qualifications are registered by the SOUTH AFRICAN QUALIFICATIONS AUTHORITY.  It is accredited by the COUNCIL ON HIGHER EDUCATION and by the SOUTH AFRICAN NURSING COUNCIL.

    Its Main Campus is in Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa and there is also a Sub-Campus in Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa.

    COMMENCEMENT OF NEW NURSING QUALIFICATIONS

    UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING commenced with the Higher Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing (R169) and the Diploma in Nursing (General Nurse)(R171) in 2020 as one of the few institutions registered and accredited in the country to offer the new qualifications.  Intakes for both qualifications were full for 2020 and 2021 (within the constraints placed on student numbers by the SOUTH AFRICAN NURSING COUNCIL).

    INTAKES 2023-2024

    Applicants wishing to apply are urged to ensure that they meet the admission criteria for the new qualifications as prescribed by statute and stipulated by UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING:  please access the ADMISSION CRITERIA button at the top of this page for more information in this regard.  You can also obtain an Information Brochure by clicking on the link below or by requesting a copy from our offices.

    SANC Annual 2023-2024| How To Pay

    We are pleased to inform you about SANC Annual 2023-2024| How To Pay

    Here we want to answer this question. When must the annual fees for 2023-2024 be paid?

    The due date for payment of annual fees is normally 31 December of the year preceding the year for which the fees are due.

    Early birds can pay the fee from 1 July of the year preceding the year for which it is due – no earlier.

    Please be advised that these dates may change in future.  This page will be updated as soon as possible if and when it ever happens.

    Note 1:  It is the responsibility of every registered or enrolled person to make sure that his/her annual fee reaches Council by the due date.

    Note 2:  If your remittance is sent by post, please allow sufficient time for it to reach Council by the due date.

    WARNING:  If you wish to pay at the Council offices during December, please be WARNED that you should pay early in the month to avoid dissappointment due to any year end closing of the Council offices.  You are also WARNED that queues can sometimes be very long at that time.  Council RECOMMENDS that you consider paying your fee into the bank to avoid any problems/inconvenience.
