We Mamezala Plot Summary

The Marathi romance drama was first named “Aggabai Sasubai,” which means “Oh Mine Mother-In-Law” in English. The story revolves around Shubhra, who goes against traditional expectations by attempting to set up her widowed mother-in-law, Asavari, with a famous chef. You can catch this show every day at 6:00 p.m.

Asavari Kulkarni is a middle-aged woman who lives with her son Soham and her strict father-in-law Dattatray, who is also known as Aajoba. They reside in Sahajivan Society, a middle-class apartment in Thane, Maharashtra. Asavari’s husband, Prabhakar, passed away many years ago, which left her to raise Soham as a single mother. This responsibility caused her to put her own dreams on hold. Things take a turn when Soham’s college friend Shubhra reveals that she and Soham want to get married. Asavari supports this decision, but Aajoba strongly opposes their union. Soham and Shubhra decide to have a civil marriage without Aajoba’s consent. They also have a meal at a restaurant owned by Abhijeet Raje, a famous chef who appears on a cooking show.

Abhijeet falls for Asavari and sends her a sweet dish through Shubhra. That night, Asavari calls Abhijeet to express her appreciation for the treat. Meanwhile, Soham and Shubhra’s friends plan a stay as a wedding gift for them. However, Aajoba becomes furious when he learns about this and forces them to return home.

The next day, Shubhra discovers an old camera that belonged to Asavari’s late husband, Prabhakar, while cleaning the storage room. This discovery stirs up emotions in Asavari. Aajoba secretly uploads a photo from the camera on the internet to sell it. Later, the Kulkarnis visit a temple to perform a prayer ceremony for Soham and Shubhra’s new marriage. While there, Aajoba mistakenly accuses Abhijeet of stealing his sandals, leading to a confrontation. Shubhra manages to calm Aajoba down and takes him home. Abhijeet later visits Asavari’s house to buy the camera sold by Aajoba.

During this visit, Asavari accidentally adds rice grains to Abhijeet’s coffee due to her surprise at his unexpected arrival. When Abhijeet offers her a check in exchange for the camera and notices her emotional state, he decides to leave the camera at her house as a gesture of goodwill. Asavari goes to Abhijeet’s restaurant to return the check since Aajoba has agreed to keep the camera as well. That night, Abhijeet accompanies Asavari on her way home, and they share tea in the rain on the streets. Meanwhile, Soham and Aajoba are forced to order food from a restaurant because Soham cannot heat the food cooked by Asavari. Seeing Aajoba’s condition, Asavari feels guilty.

After a few days, Shubhra orders a microwave for Soham, while Asavari goes to a vegetable market where Abhijeet surprises her with a gift of a pumpkin. Abhijeet begins to develop feelings for Asavari and invites her to his restaurant for dinner. However, Asavari receives a call from Soham, informing her that he has had a scooter accident. She rushes home, and Abhijeet follows her. Abhijeet catches up with Asavari and expresses his love for her. Asavari is shocked and disappointed because Abhijeet’s feelings are beyond their friendship, and she tells him she doesn’t want to marry him. At home, Shubhra tries to console Asavari, suggesting that Abhijeet loves her deeply and can make her happy. Later, she explains to a surprised Abhijeet that Asavari doesn’t want to remarry because she values her current life and family.

Meanwhile, Asavari feels hurt as Soham and Aajoba criticize her for leaving an injured Soham. The next day, Shubhra advises Abhijeet not to meet Asavari until she admits that she loves him too. Later, Soham discovers Asavari’s photo in Abhijeet’s wallet, and this angers him. That evening, Asavari mistakenly dials Abhijeet’s number when ordering groceries, as she is troubled by memories of him. Asavari eventually decides to go to the grocery shop, and Abhijeet realizes her feelings for him. He rushes to her house and meets her downstairs. They both admit their love for each other just as Soham and Shubhra overhear. Aajoba recognizes his mistake and agrees to their marriage. Abhijeet and Asavari get married, bringing the series to a close.

Anupama Starlife portrays the life of a housewife working day and night for the family but still not getting appreciated. Anupama’s story feels extremely real as she is a caring mother, devoted wife, and loving daughter-in-law. Nobody in the house gives importance to her except her younger son, Samar.

Anupama Full Story/Synopsis

The series Anupamaa revolves around Gujarati a housewife who takes care of everyone and never asks for anything in return, she is a devoted wife, mother and daughter-in-law. She has a family-oriented and self-sacrificing nature. Time and again, she is humiliated for being a mere housewife and for having an incomplete degree and education.

Anupamaa’s husband, Vanraj Shah has been having an affair with his colleague, Kavya Gandhi for the past 8 years. Despite being warned by her best friend, Devika and Kavya’s husband, Aniruddh, she refuses to believe it and expresses her faith in Vanraj. On her 25th Wedding Anniversary, when Anupamaa sees Vanraj and Kavya getting intimate, she is left shattered and breaks ties with Vanraj and decides to live her life on her own terms. Anupamaa’s younger son, Samar also breaks all ties with Vanraj after learning the same. Rakhi informs the Shahs about the affair leaving them shattered. Soon, Anupamaa’s elder son, Paritosh marries Kinjal while Samar and Nandini fall for each other after Samar learns about Nandini’s infertility.

Anupamaa takes care of Vanraj’s health after he meets with an accident. Vanraj develops a soft corner for Anupamaa. He tries to express his feelings to her, but Anupamaa rebukes him for it. Anupamaa decides to start afresh and tells Vanraj that she wants a divorce. Vanraj fears losing Anupamaa and his family and leaves the house. Anupamaa finds him in a wellness resort in Surat and confronts him.

Anupamaa gets diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and asks Vanraj to sign the divorce papers. Later, Kavya and Aniruddh get divorced with Kavya preparing for her wedding with Vanraj. Vanraj goes missing on the wedding day and is confronted by Anupamaa for lacking courage as well as commitment. Kavya and Vanraj get married. After getting successfully treated by emergency surgery, Hasmukh asks Anupamaa to continue staying with them as she will always remain a part of their family, to which she agrees.

Kavya continuously taunts Anupamaa, trying to humiliate her and failing in her attempts to turn the family against her. Anupamaa Dance Academy gets established with the help of Samar and Nandini and the family rejoices. Anupamaa advises Vanraj to open a café in her academy but Kavya instigates him against Anupamaa and instead of being grateful for her help, he taunts her.

Anuj Kapadia, a successful business tycoon returns to India from the USA. He turns out to be Anupamaa’s college batchmate and one-sided lover. Seeing Anuj and Anupamaa spend time together, Vanraj seethes with jealousy. Anuj’s team likes Anupamaa’s business idea and he offers her a partnership deal in his restaurant. Vanraj fumes and asks her to refuse the offer. Anupamaa signs the contract and joins Anuj as a business partner. Meanwhile, Rohan, Nandini’s obsessive former boyfriend returns to win her back and attempts Samar and Anupamaa’s murders but gets caught red-handed by Anuj and leaves their lives fearing being jailed for his father’s scams.

Tired of all the taunts and accusations, Anupamaa decides to move out of the Shah house while Samar leaves with her. Later they start living in a rented house. Kavya makes Vanraj, Dolly and Anupamaa sign the property papers. In his frustration over Anupamaa’s repeated character assassination by some family members, Anuj confesses his unrequited love for Anupamaa to the Shahs, unaware that she overheard him. Initially shattered by the one-sided love of Anuj, Anupamaa and later gets consoled and convinced by Samar and Gopichandra respectively to continue their relationship as friends.

Later Kavya reveals about tricking everyone into signing property papers in her name, which makes Vanraj vengeful. He handovers divorce papers to her shocking everyone. However the latter refuses to divorce him. Meanwhile, Anuj gets injured while fighting with some goons and Anupamaa starts realizing her feelings for him. She decides to stay at his residence until he recovers completely. However, Vanraj shocks everyone by starting his business venture Vanika Teamwork with a girl named Malvika. However, Malvika turning out to be Anuj’s sister and Anuj being an adopted child by Kapadias comes as a huge shocker for everyone.

Later it is revealed that Malvika suffers from depression and is a victim of Domestic Violence by her former husband. While Anupamaa helps her to overcome the trauma, Kavya’s exit leads to a major argument between Samar and Nandini fuelled by Vanraj. While they clear their misunderstandings soon after Kavya’s return, Anupamaa gets shocked to know about Vanraj trapping Malvika in his love trap to become rich overnight and employs Kavya in her project to keep an eye on Vanraj.

Later Vanraj instigates Malvika against Anuj leading Anuj to transfer the whole Kapadia Empire to the former. Anuj and Anupamaa vow to start a new chapter by relaunching Anupamaa Dance Academy. On Valentine’s Day, while Anupamaa proposes to Anuj, Nandini leaves Samar due to her insecurities regarding marriage and returns back to the USA. This leaves him heartbroken and he decides to just focus on his dance career and vows never to believe in love again. Later Shahs decide to celebrate Anupamaa’s 45th birthday and everyone gets elated to know about Kinjal’s pregnancy.

Later Paritosh crosses his limits by calling his unborn baby a bad omen ultimately facing the wrath of the whole family. Soon Anupamaa and Anuj decide to get married much to Leela, Vanraj, Kavya, Rakhi, Pakhi and Paritosh’s anger. As the marriage rituals begin with Anupamaa and Anuj’s supporters Malvika returns and fires Vanraj, Kavya and Paritosh from her company due to their non-professionalism and insensitive behavior towards her brother and Anupamaa.

First Episode on Anupama Starlife

The Episode starts with Anupama praying for everyone. Bapu ji asks her to pray for herself. She greets him and says I m praying for myself. Jhilmil comes and starts the work. Anupama lights the diya. She starts preparing the breakfast. Bapu ji sees her and tells about Devi doing everything alone. Anupama asks him to keep the Misri back. Anupama thinks its Kanha’s house, I m the caretaker. She goes. Bapu ji says Maa’s puja doesn’t happen, as Maa doesn’t stay at one place.

Anupama goes to her son Paritosh and gives coffee. She asks what are you studying. He says you won’t understand. She picks a book and says you won’t understand. He says you should explain this dancer. She cleans the room and goes to her daughter’s room. Her daughter Pakhi/Sweety says ask and come in. Anupama asks did you ask before getting born, what are you doing. Pakhi says its fashion. Anupama stitches her skirt. Pakhi asks her to shut the door and go. Anupama goes to her room. She sees her husband. She keeps his clothes ready. She wears some bangles.

She says your protein shake. She applies black dot to his foot. She holds his feet while he does the exercise. She says no one can say that you are 45 years old, you look 28 year old. He says you should also look after, you are 42 years old but look like 50 year old. She asks do I look so. He asks did you say something. She says no and cries. She sees her face. Her son Samar sings Chand chupa and comes.

Bapu ji asks Leela when will she change, why will Anupama give Agnipariksha. Leela says never, you always tell me. Anupama asks everyone to have food. She gives medicines to Bapu ji. Pakhi refuses to have thepla. Anupama says sory. Her husband corrects her and says sorry. Pakhi jokes on Anupama and Samar, calling them losers. Samar hears this and goes. Baa asks Anupama to give food to Samar.

Anupama’s husband says she won’t understand work. He asks Pakhi to come. Anupama gives tiffin. Pakhi says I will have food in canteen, this tiffin is embarrassment. Anupama says you may get acne after having food outside. Pakhi takes the tiffin. They leave. Anupama asks do you want something. Baa says Samar didn’t come to have food. Anupama meets her friend Devika and hugs. She says you were in America. Devika says I came yesterday. She introduces her friend Devika to Baa and Bapu ji. Bapu ji says you are mistaken. Devika says aunty is right, if Anu goes, who will do the work, she does everything. Baa says Anupama will go with her. Anupama says I will do my work and come. Anupama runs around and recalls her childhood. Devika says we used to shout our family member’s name. Anupama shouts her children’s names. Devika asks her to take her husband’s name. Anupama doesn’t take his name. Devika says at least take your name. Anupama shouts Anupama…. Devika asks why do you keep yourself at last. Anupama says everyone is equal in the family, what’s the time now. Her friend says there is still one hour.

Samar hears music and dances. Pakhi comes home and asks for water. Samar asks her to do her work herself. They fight. Paritosh comes and asks for tea. Baa says your mummy went out with friends. Paritosh asks what. Samar says yes. Pakhi asks how can mummy go. Anupama sees time. Her phone gets off. Anupama makes an anklet herself. She says I will go home soon. Anupama’s husband comes home and calls her out. He asks for tea. Baa says she went out with friends. Pakhi says I didn’t even get coffee. Paritosh says I m feeling hungry. Baa says she went out with her divorced friend, I will make tea, oh my knee… Samar says I will make tea.

His dad says no, Anupama will make tea, it’s her work. He calls Anupama and gets the number switched off. He angrily sits in front of the main door. Anupama runs around and dances. Her friends clap for her. She recalls her childhood. She thinks of her work at home. She wants to go home. She happily cries. She thanks Devika for making her meet her friends. Devika asks who else did you meet?

Anupama says I met myself after so many years. They hug Anupama. Anupama rushes. She removes the handmade anklet. She is on the way home. Baa says even blog isn’t prepared. Everyone waits for Anupama. Anupama sees her husband’s car and thinks how did he come soon, is he fine? She enters the house. She sees her husband and asks are you fine, you came home early. Bapu ji says he is fine. Anupama says sorry, I came early, but you also came early, Devika…. Her husband shouts at her. He scolds her for roaming with friends. Anupama asks what happened. He asks who are they. She says my family. He says no, its my family, if its your family, then how could you leave them hungry and go with friends, my parents and children are hungry. She says but I have done all the work, didn’t you check the fridge, I have made the coffee, tea and bhog.

He says you were not at your place. She says Jhilmil’s daughter’s health wasn’t well, so I gave her a leave. Preesha Srinivasan is raising her nephew, Saransh, after her sister Mahima dies during childbirth. Her son is a fan of Rudraksh “Rudra” Khurana, a rich rockstar who doesn’t believe in love and is detested by Preesha. Preesha’s friend Yuvraj, a lawyer, fakes being in love with her for a promotion from her father, a judge. After finding out that Saransh is Rudra’s nephew, Rajeev’s son, Yuvraj blackmails him for money. Yuvraj kills Rajeev and Preesha takes the murder blame to save him. Rudra vows to take revenge for his brother and finds out the truth of Saransh being Rajeev’s son thinking Preesha is the biological mother. In a twist of events, Rudra takes Yuvraj’s place on their wedding day and marries Preesha to get full custody of Saransh. Preesha is proved innocent and agrees to stay in the Khurana house for Saransh. To stop the child care department from taking Saransh, Rudra and Preesha act as a happy couple.

In the pretense of faking a romance for the sake of everyone and Saransh, they begin to have real feelings for each other. They bond at their friends wedding despite Yuvraj trying to create differences. Rudra helps get Saransh admission to a good school. Saransh gets kidnapped, Rudra and Preesha get closer in the process of finding him. Rudra takes care of Preesha when she gets injured and helps fight for her when she treats a COVID patient. Rudra gets admission in Saaransh school to continue his education at Preesha’s encouragement.

Rudra keeps failing to express his feeling towards Preesha. Preesha starts questioning her feelings as Rudra keeps doing things that impress her, like defending her family. Rudra and Preesha get popular after doing an interview together. Rudra see’s Preesha slapping Yuvraj and asking him to stay away. However Rahul, a music producer, creates a misunderstanding between them making Rudra believe Preesha still loves Yuvraj and is cheating him. They both have a huge fight and Rudra tells Preesha that she will see the full extent of his hatred

Due to his love for Preesha, Rudra struggles to keep Preesha away from him even though he tortures her. At his concert, Rudra makes Preesha jealous by using Keerti, his co-singer. Keerti is murdered, and the blame goes on Rudra. Preesha saves Rudra. Rudra finds out Preesha isn’t Saaransh’s biological mother and Rahul confesses to him that he lied. Rudra goes after Preesha, apologizing and confessing his love to her passionately in the rain. He falls at her feet in front of the entire family. They go off for their honeymoon to start their relationship afresh. Their honeymoon gets interrupted by the return of evil Mahima, Saransh’s mother. Mahima intends to win the custody of Saaransh for his trust fund.
201-250 Mahima wins custody.

Preesha works with Rudra and Yuvraj to expose her. She pretends to betray Rudra and fakes her marriage with Yuvraj while Rudra pretends to marry Mahima to stop her from leaving with Saransh. Preesha finally confesses her love to Rudra and they share a kiss at Christmas. Mahima finds out about their plan through Yuvraj and continuously destroys the evidence against her. She switches Rudra with a doppelganger, Bhuvan, making Preesha misunderstand that she consummated with fake Rudra which breaks Preesha’s heart who then starts hating Rudra. Bhuvan, keeps pursuing Preesha as Rudra.
251-300 Balraj learns the truth and is murdered by Mahima and Bhuvan. The real Rudra is arrested. Preesha then realises the imposter did not have real Rudra’s birthmark. Mahima is arrested.

Rudra and Preesha are finally happy, they share a possessive moment where Rudra pulls her hair, kisses her saying that nobody will separate them again. Rudra later finds his birth mother, Sulochana, and his half brother Kabir unaware that the two are after the Khurana’s wealth. Preesha learns the truth about them, tries to reveal it to Rudra but keeps failing. Meanwhile, Rudra tells Preesha that he wants to have a child with her and tries to find ways for them to get intimate. Kabir tricks Ahana into helping them obtain the property by marrying him to receive custody of Saransh. Kabir gets Rudra kidnapped with Mahima’s help.

Preesha goes undercover and saves Rudra while Mahima flees. The family moves to Goa. Preesha plots to stop Kabir and Ahana’s marriage, she instead gets Ahana married to Yuvraj. Ahana flees to London. Rudra becomes upset with Preesha but makes up with her later as he gives her CPR, after saving her from drowning. Mishka and Kabir elope and get married. They get custody of Saransh and then later kidnap him. Mishka threatens to blow up herself and Saransh if the police are involved. Rudra manages the situation but things take a tragic turn when Preesha secretly brings the police.

Saransh and Mishka are presumed dead. Rudra blames Preesha for Saransh’s death. She blames him for not trusting her against his mother and brother earlier. Rudra and Preesha get divorced. Rudra promises to never sing again after losing his son. Preesha almost falls off a cliff but is saved by Armaan Thakur.

6 months later.

Preesha is living with Armaan and his daughter, Anvi, in Goa. Rudra works as a manager in a hotel in Delhi, where he meets Armaan’s sister, Devika who develops a crush on him. Rudra and Preesha finally meet in Goa. Rudra misunderstands that Preesha is married to Armaan and they have a bitter confrontation at the party where he roughly dances with her. Rudra makes Preesha jealous and proposes to Devika. Preesha gets affected by seeing Rudra and Devika, Rudra keeps questioning her if his touch still affects her, and admits she loves him. Goons attack Preesha, Rudra saves her and Armaan catches them in a compromising position.

Rudra and Preesha learn that Mishka is still alive with Ahana. While living together to spy on them, Rudra and Preesha remember old times. Ahaana makes up a story and Rudra and Preesha grieve together. Rudra tells her that he still wants them to be together. Armaan and Devika find out about Rudra and Preesha being married. Devika is found dead. Preesha is arrested and Rudra promises to get her out. At the trial, Preesha gets accused of living with Rudra and having an affair with him, killing Devika out of jealousy.

Rudra saves Preesha, and gets his mother Sulochana sentenced. Rudra falls at Preesha’s feet begging for forgiveness. Armaan takes Preesha away to Shimla, and spikes her drink to make Rudra misunderstand Preesha. Rudra sets the room on fire and takes Preesha away. Drunk Preesha seduces Rudra. The next morning, he pranks her saying they slept together. Armaan and Rudra fight. Rudra gets critically injured on his birthday. Preesha finally confesses she loves him.

Rudraksh orchestrates a fake wedding with Anvi’s biological mother and Armaan’s wife, Sania to gain information about Saransh. Preesha refuses to believe Rudra moving on. She makes Rudra jealous, seduces him in the men’s bathroom . Preesha hires a Private investigator and finds out who Sania is.

Sania manipulates the situation in a way that Preesha misunderstands Rudra. Preesha asks Armaan to marry her to get Rudra to confess. Rudra arrives to stop the wedding telling Preesha he loves her very much and that their son is alive. She presents Krishna to him and reveals he is Saaransh’s showing him his birthmark.

Ahaana and Mishka get arrested. Rudra and Preesha’s pre wedding festivities start off much to Armaan’s annoyance. Rudra starts getting suspicious towards Armaan.

At their sangeet, Rudra sings “will you marry me”, their special song for Preesha which helps Saaransh remember some things.

Rudra and Preesha get married twice, South Indian and Punjabi style. Saransh gets his memory back. Preesha has a grand graha pravesh at Khurana house. Armaan sneaks into Khurana house and puts itching powder on their bed. Rudra realises someone has messed with them but refuses to let their wedding night be spoiled. He takes Preesha to their bathroom, they take a shower together. Rudra openly threatens Armaan saying he knows what he’s doing. Preesha tells Rudra she wants him to be a Rockstar again.

Their lawyers tell them they are legal guardians of Saransh and have managed to get all their property. Rudra and Preesha keep fulfilling their fantasies and role play. Rudra keeps getting frustrated as every attempt to get intimate fails. At the press conference, they tell everyone they are happy to be back as a family which makes Anvi jealous. Anvi gets a car to run over Saransh but Sharda saves him and gets injured instead.

Mr Ahuja tells Rudra he has to leave for Shimla for his concert tour. Armaan and Sania arrive posing to be fixing their marriage. Armaan tells Mr Ahuja to give him a drink that would damage his voice. Rudra has a panic attack when he loses his voice but Preesha figures it out and gives him the medicine he needs. Rudraksh dedicates a special life song to Preesha and performs brilliantly.

Rudra has a massive argument with Armaan who admits he has been messing with them. He asks Rudra to swap wives for one night which infuriates Rudra. Rudra beats him up in front of everyone and Armaan spikes his drink. Rudra arrives in his room highly upset leaving Preesha confused. They both consummate as she tries to calm him down. Armaan tells Sonia to trap Rudra, she calls him to his room saying Armaan is hurting her. Rudra leaves behind a sleeping Preesha. Armaan and Sania set a trap for Rudra. However Rudra and Preesha end up tricking Armaan and Sania with the help of Mishka and finally get rid of them. Rudra tells Preesha he wants to plan their suhaagraat again since he doesn’t remember it and both come up with plans for it.

Preesha wears sexy nightwear and handcuffs him, Rudra books a private suite for them where he sings for her, Preesha books a hotel where they role play pretending to be strangers but every plan comically keeps getting interrupted. Rudra and Preesha try to get Mishka and Param, Rudra’s new manager, together. Preesha rejoins her hospital and Rudra helps her out.

Preesha’s brother, Venkatesh “Venky” Srinivasan who was missing for ten years, is found. He had attempted suicide due to a false molestation charge and was secretly hidden by GPS. Preesha is very happy to have him back but Rudra is suspicious of him. Venky tries to sabotage Param and Mishka’s wedding as Mishka was the girl who accused him wrongly. Rudra finds out and warns him. Venky challenges Rudra that Preesha would not believe him. Venky causes differences between Rudra and Preesha but ultimately Rudra exposes him. Preesha apologises to Rudra and asks him to make love to her, they spend the entire night together getting intimate. The next morning a tragedy hits them as Venky kidnaps Saaransh, Rudra gets into a fight with him and Venky is shot. Preesha takes the blame to save Rudra and gets arrested. She gets sentenced to death as Rudra is unconscious. Yuvraj Pillai helps her escape from jail as she is pregnant and they stage her death to save her child.

Rudra is made to believe Preesha is dead in a fire just as he goes to rescue her and sinks into depression.

5 years later

Preesha is raising her and Rudraksh’s daughter Ruhi Khurana meanwhile Rudra has lived with Preesha’s memories and has become a cynical alcoholic.

550-600 Rudra has to perform at Rohtak where Preesha is hiding with Ruhi, their daughter. Rudra rescues Ruhi who is a great singer like him and they start bonding. Preesha, desperate to see Rudra sneaks into his concert where he catches a glimpse of her before she runs away. He escapes to find her and Ruhi rescues him from goons. Ruhi hides Rudra at a cottage behind their house and Rudra asks to meet her mom. Rudra and Preesha both have many hits and misses where they both realise the other is around by their touch. Rudra and Ruhi form a lovely bond as Rudra feels very attached to her. Ruhi ends up wanting Rudra as her dad. Bunty finds out Preesha is alive and tells her everything about Rudra trying to find her, she makes him promise not to tell Rudra anything. Yuvraj creates a misunderstanding but Rudra and Preesha end up seeing each other as Rudra rescues Ruhi and himself from a fire and falls into Preesha’s arms.

Rudra confronts Preesha for hiding from him and she admits she did everything to protect him but he tells her his life is meaningless without her and that he can never let her go. Yuvraj shows up and creates a misunderstanding that Ruhi is his daughter as a result of Preesha cheating on Rudra. Preesha feels pressurized to save Rudra and falls into Yuvraj’s manipulation. Rudra becomes furious at Preesha. Ruhi plans to patch up Rudra and Preesha. The three get stuck in a jungle where they spend quality time as a family.

Rudra keeps questioning Preesha. Preesha moves to Delhi with Ruhi, working at Khurana school. Rudra spends time with both of them. Rudra and Preesha work together and find out about a scam Bunty orchestrated in need of money. Bunty puts Preesha and Ruhi’s life in danger and Rudra rescues them. Saaransh is overwhelmed to find out Preesha is alive. Ruhi needs blood which is the same as Rudra ‘s rare blood group and Preesha finally tells Rudra that Ruhi is their daughter. Rudra saves Ruhi and is furious with Preesha. He asks cops to arrest her as he reveals she is his wife and still alive. Both Saaransh and Ruhi decide to get Preesha out and teach Rudra a lesson for sending their mother to jail

Preesha’s case reopens and Saaransh hires Vaijanti as her lawyer. Rudra is still furious at Preesha but indulges the kids who refuse to talk to him. Preesha gets released on bail and they both get stuck overnight at a hotel. Rudra gets chicken pox, Preesha ties him on the bed against his will. She feeds him, washes him and takes care of him. The kids bring Preesha back to Khurana house. During her trial the events of Venky’s murder is finally revealed and Vaijanti is arrested. Rudra finds out Preesha was only trying to save him. They all happily reunite. Rudra and Preesha wait to reveal to Ruhi about Rudra being her dad. Rudra takes Preesha out on a grand date. Dev, a bully at school starts harassing Ruhi and Saaransh. Rudra moves Preesha to their room and they get romantic. At Holi, Ruhi finds out that Rudraksh is her father, she makes them promise to never fight again. Yuvraj spikes Preesha’s drink.

He tries to film a tape with her however Rudra arrives drunk and Yuvraj ends up watching them get intimate. Rudra decides to teach music at Khurana school to spend more time with Preesha and the kids. Preesha shows Rudra all the childhood tapes of their daughter. Dev keeps harassing the family and his mother, Revati who is also the police commissioner protects him. Yuvraj reveals to Rudra that Preesha knew he was responsible for Rajeev’s murder all these years which causes a fight between Rudra and Preesha after which Yuvraj runs away. Rudra sleeps on the sofa but pretends to be normal in front of the family. Saaransh accidentally pushes Dev off a building while protecting Ruhi, which leads to Dev’s death. Rudra and Preesha panic and decide to hide Dev’s body together to protect their family.

Umkhokha Full Story

Ithempeli Lenkosi is the biggest church in all of KwaZulu-Natal. It is a multi-million dollar business, and its leader, Kwazi Mthembu, is a powerful man. The story of “Imfihlo” revolves around Isha Nimkar, a modest middle-class girl living with her parents. She meets Vikrant Saranjame, a wealthy industrialist when she has to deliver a speech at her college where he is the chief guest. Despite a rocky start, they develop feelings for each other, and Vikrant offers her a job.

They eventually get married, but a dark secret begins to unfold. Vikrant’s true intention behind marrying Isha is to use her as a pawn to obtain the Saranjame property. He tries to make her believe she is the reincarnation of his late wife, Rajnandini, to gain control of the property.

As the story progresses, Isha discovers Vikrant’s deceit and uncovers the truth about Rajnandini’s past. She, along with her parents and some allies, plans to expose Vikrant’s wrongdoing and bring justice. However, the situation takes a tragic turn when Vikrant, overwhelmed by guilt, takes his own life.

The series ends with Isha finding closure and leaving the Saranjame mansion to start a new chapter with her parents by running a catering business.

Smoke & Mirrors on e.tv is a new South African soapie set to premiere on 17th April 2023 at 9.00 p.m. following the end of Imbewu. The show’s storyline revolves around Thandiswa, who is on a mission to expose three morally corrupt men in the small mining town of Emnyameni.

Imlie Starlife full story

Imlie, an 18-year-old girl is from a village named Pagdandia located in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. Her mother, Meethi had a one night stand with Dev Chaturvedi, a city man who left Meethi impregnated. So, the villagers came up with a rule, if a man spends a night with a girl, they have to get married.

Satyakam is a farmer turned rebel, who is fighting for Pagdandia’s rights is Imlie’s father-figure. Imlie obtains a scholarship after she earns her degree. She wanted to be a police officer to provide support to her foster father and her unmarried mother.

Aditya “Adi” Kumar Tripathi is a Delhi-based journalist working in Bhaskar Times. His girlfriend is Malini Chaturvedi (Dev’s daughter) for seven years. Before their engagement, Adi leaves for Pagdandia to take Satyakam’s interview where he proves to the world that he is a revolutionist, not a rebel. Imlie helps Adi in guiding the village, where they both had to stay in a hut due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The next day Imlie’s Nani and the villagers threaten to kill Adi if he doesn’t marry Imlie thinking they both had spent night together. Adi didn’t want to get married, instead, he was ready to die. While the villagers tried to kill Adi, Imlie stops them and agrees to marry Adi to save his life. She tries to contact Malini with Adi’s phone, but the effort goes in vain when the villagers find it out. Imlie and Adi get forcefully married.

Coming to New Delhi, Imlie introduces herself as a maid to the Tripathi family to save Adi. Adi treated her very badly. She stayed in a corner in his house. While Imlie wins everyone’s hearts, Adi is afraid that if everyone likes her, it will be heartbreaking for them when she leaves one day. However, the reason Imlie sticks with this marriage is because of her upbringing, beliefs in marriage, her faith in God, and concern that if she left, the villagers will kill Adi.

Before Adi and Malini’s marriage, Adi reveals the marriage truth to Malini, making her faint. The doctor advises him not to do so. Imlie sees her husband marrying Malini, her half-sister with a broken heart. Adi has to go to Pagdandia for the government’s peace meeting with Satyakam, and the Tripathi family sends Imlie too with him. He decides to leave her there permanently. He understands Imlie’s dilemma and point of view and feels very bad. She saves his life from a bomb blast that night. Later, Imlie is gunshot while saving Adi from Chandu and he brings her to a hospital in Delhi. Adi realises how badly he treated her and becomes soft with her. Imlie also saves Malini from a bridge accident. Imlie maintains their relationship alone by her faith. Soon Adi realises Imlie is his true love and Malini was just a friend. He also learns that they are half-sisters during his Pagdandia visit.

Although he proposes to Imlie she thinks about Malini and asks him not to break the vows he took during his marriage with Malini, then only she would come back. However, Malini thinks Adi is cheating on her and attempts suicide, and Imlie donates her blood to save her life. She then tells Adi that she is in love with her college friend Kunal. Meanwhile, after Malini’s mother tortures Imlie physically by hitting a tube light on her head, she decides to leave for Pagdandia thinking Adi cheated on her. Adi reveals the truth to Malini that Imlie is his first wife. Malini comes to Pagdandia with a name Kalpana and discovers that Imlie is her half-sister.

Adi and Imlie reunite and Aditya convinces Satyakam and Meethi to get married. Kunal Chauhan, a criminal lawyer fights for Satyakam’s case and is also in charge of Adi and Malini’s divorce case. Kunal is in love with Malini and she also had little feelings for him. Imlie learns about her father and refuses to accept Dev and tells Satyakam will always be her father. The Tripathi family splashes water on her, looking down on her because of her illegitimate status and taunting her.

Adi always stood up for her, but Imlie refuses to stay in his room until the family’s acceptance. He is like a mentor figure to her, who taught her English, helped in her studies, gave her courage, life lessons, not to feel inferior in front of others and supported her. She finally expresses her feelings to him that she loves and idealises him. She wants to be a journalist, after seeing Adi’s works. But Malini couldn’t see them happy after a point of time, thus decides to get Aditya back.

Malini stops the divorce proceedings. She and Anu put on a fake suicide drama and Aditya takes her back to his house with Imlie’s permission. Imlie takes care of Malini. But Malini tries to break Aditya and Imlie’s relationship. Imlie discovers Malini’s intentions and warns Aditya, but he didn’t believe him. He also discovered Kunal’s truth and this makes him believe in her much more. Adi and Imlie’s post-marriage rituals were happening when Malini informs Satyakam that Aditya is cheating on Imlie with her. When he comes to confirm he sees them close and shoots Aditya. Imlie saves Aditya and is bitten by a snake. After they recover, Adi demands Satyakam to be jailed. But after hearing the truth from Satyakam, Imlie says Malini also needs to be jailed as she is the person who instigated him. Adi didn’t believe and refused to do so. Imlie escapes Satyakam saying Malini should also be punished, then she will bring him back.

From there, they develop trust issues. Malini gets intimate with Aditya by intoxicating him. Imlie is devastated and broken after knowing Aditya and Malini spent night together. The family asks Imlie to go away for their family respect in society, but Adi asks her to not leave. Imlie sees her saree burnt to realise that Malini has used her saree to spend the night with Aditya. She returns and files a case against Malini for getting intimate against Aditya’s will and Kunal comes to support Imlie. She finds video evidence and shows him. He is shattered as he couldn’t believe his best friend could do this to him.

During submitting the evidence to the court, the video file was found deleted and the case gets dismissed. Adi tells he deleted the video as Malini is pregnant. Imlie is completely heartbroken hearing this. He further tells the false story told by Anu (Malini’s mom) that she intoxicated and dressed up Malini as Imlie and sent her to his room.

Imlie decides to let Malini stay in the house because she thinks the baby should not live a life like her without her father’s name. Malini wants Imlie to go out from Adi’s life. The Tripathi family slowly accepts Imlie as their daughter-in-law. But Adi and Imlie’s relationship is at stake due to trust issues and misunderstandings because of Malini. Finally, Adi and Malini are divorced. But she does various things to separate Imlie and Adi, and asusual, Adi trusts Malini. When Imlie asks Adi to send Malini home, he refuses as Malini is pregnant and dismisses the request saying she is insecure. As a final stroke, Malini shots herself and frames Imlie, but Satyakam takes the blame and goes to jail. Malini demands to send Imlie out of the house. When Adi asks Imlie what happened, she loses all her patience and ends their relationship by burning her nuptial chain and removing the sindoor which she considered as Goddess Sita’s blessings and leaves Tripathi house choosing self-respect above her husband.

Aryan Singh Rathore is a businessman, who comes as the CEO of Bhaskar Times. He misunderstands that Adi is responsible for his brother-in-law’s death, thus wanting revenge from him. Imlie stays at a girls hostel. Although Adi gives the internship offer letter to Imlie, she tears it and eventually gets the same from Aryan. Imlie leaves the hostel and she stays at the office at night. While she was teased by some boys, Aryan rescues her and makes Imlie his paying guest. Although Aryan was rude to Imlie in the start, he likes her bubbly nature and gets inspired by her. Adi misunderstands Imlie and Aryan’s relationship. Soon, during their wedding anniversary, Adi sees Imlie and Aryan in a hotel room, and misunderstand them. Malini sends divorce papers to Adi replacing them with a letter from Imlie.

Adi is heartbroken thinking Imlie wants to leave him for Aryan. He ends the relationship. Imlie is left devastated, where Aryan supports her. Adi misunderstands Aryan’s words and announces his marriage to Malini making Imlie sign the divorce papers.

After the divorce, Aryan laid moral support to Imlie. Adi marries Malini and Imlie decides to move on even if it takes days, months or years. She and Aryan shares a supreme relationship of friendship and becomes comfortable with each other. With Aryan’s help Imlie finally manages to expose Malini’s misdeeds. Aditya becomes shattered upon seeing this and apologizes to Imlie, but she ignores him. Aditya throws Malini out of the house and sends Anu to jail, releasing Satyakam.

Aditya unintentionally reports a stormy weather as clear leading Aryan and Arpita getting injured in the storm. He then learns about Arvind and Aryan’s revenge and tries to warn Imlie that Aryan is using her against him, but she refuses to believe. However when Aryan publicly confronts Aditya, Imlie learns the truth. When she confronts Aryan about the same, he refuses to answer her questions. Heartbroken, she leaves his house. Aryan who wishes her well being arranges a place for her to stay without her knowing. Then he frames Aditya for false weather reporting and bans his journalism license. Seeing the Tripathis condition, Imlie begs Aryan to save her family.

He then puts forth the condition of marrying her but she in turn puts a condition that the marriage would be fake and should be on paper only as she refused to betray her religious beliefs. When Aditya learns about the same, he demands the wedding in front of his eyes, as a punishment of hurting Imlie. Aryan agrees to it while Imlie lashes out at him for the same.He challenges her to stop the wedding. Aryan’s Badi Maa Neela and his childhood friend Preeta (Baby Doll) enters with an intention to takeover Rathore’s wealth by stopping the wedding and by doing a brideswap. Imlie realizes their real intentions and tries to alert Aryan which creates drama during the marriage ceremony.

During the phera Aryan takes six pheras and leaves the seventh to Imlie’s choice, as she tries to go away she is stopped by Meethi who tells her to marry Aryan by saying Imlie is “indebted” to her. Imlie finally returns and takes the seventh phera and cuts the ties with Meethi misunderstanding her intentions. Imlie and Aryan finally get married.

After the marriage Neela actively tries to break the relationship between Aryan and Imlie with the help of Preeta in several occasions. However, Aryan shows his trust and support towards Imlie which slowly shifts her opinion in him and questions his real intentions in marrying her. She then becomes interested in Arvind’s case and started to interrogate the past incident as a reporter with the intention of freeing Aryan from his scarred past and give a closure to Arpita and Narmada.

In search of the real culprits of Arvind’s death, she finds evidence to prove that Aditya was a pawn of a foul play done by Seth Purandas – a business rival of Arvind and killed him for messing with his business. She records Seth’s conversation with the help of Madhav who’s a fellow villager she met during her search. She tries to hand over the evidence to Aryan who’s at a beauty pageant sponsored by Bhaskar Times but Seth’s goons who had followed her set a bomb in a trophy to stop her. Aryan and Imlie handle the bomb situation successfully but then Imlie gets kidnapped. Aryan follows the goons and learns the truth behind his brother in law’s death which left him devastated and he looses control over the situation that he and Imlie are in as the goons try to kill her in the same manner as Arvind. However, Aryan overcomes his fears by Imlie’s calling and manages to free them.

Aditya also reaches the place with police and helps them. Aryan apologise to Aditya and his family for his impulsive actions which leads Aditya to also apologise to Aryan for not investigating Arvind’s case properly before reporting. Out of guilt, Aryan lets Imlie go from his and his family’s lives. However, she decides to return to Aryan and Aditya leaves the country.

The next storm in Imlie and Aryan’s lives comes as the marriage of Arpita. Neela brings a proposal for Arpita when she heard Imlie discussing Sundar’s feelings with her. Though Imlie manages to open Aryan’s eyes to the necessity of having a companion for his sister, he is strongly opposes the idea of it being with Sundar as he thinks about her wellbeing. Hence he agrees to meet the family Neela proposed.

Imlie started disliking Uday from the moment she saw him rudely speaking to a lady on the road. Later, she learns that he was set up by Neela to marry Arpita. She tries to speak to Aryan about it however, he was not ready to judge Uday due to his experience with Adi. Hence she tries to bring up the incompatibility between Arpita and Uday through a cooking competition where Aryan ends up cooking for Imlie. This incident left Aryan wondering what happened between Imlie and Amma and also fixing the engagement of Arpita and Uday. On the date of the engagement, Imlie leaves the Rathore mansion after disagreeing with Aryan’s decision and excluding her from his family matters. She then learns that Sundar is leaving the city.

While she was trying to stop Sundar, she again meets the lady who was with Uday when they first met and learns that she is his mother. It’s later revealed that he has been mistreating his parents after illegally acquiring their properties and Imlie brings this up in front of everyone present at the engagement party. Aryan immediately stops the engagement and apologizes to Imlie. Heartbroken, Arpita tries to take some pills and Sundar ends up saving her. As Aryan and Narmada realize Arpita also has developed feelings for Sundar, they agree to their union.

Imlie realises her mistake of breaking ties with Meethi during her wedding and becomes emotional. Aryan consoles her. During their discussion, the window of their room cracks, leading them to run outside to find nothing but Aryan manages to get a glimpse of her thoughts about their marriage from Imlie. On the day that the wedding dates are fixed, Sundar’s mother, Nanda Prasad comes and insults Arpita while Imlie smartly controls the situation. Nanda was called by Neela to spoil the nuptials of Sundar and Arpita. This disagreement with his mother leads Arpita to tell Sundar that if Nanda won’t agree to their union, she won’t proceed with the marriage.

After assessing Arpita’s wealth, Nanda agrees to the marriage and requests a dowry ignoring Imlie’s warning. During the marriage preparations, Aryan receives a flower bouquet which he misunderstands as Imlie’s doing. He questions the same from her which she makes fun of. Despite all these incidents their relationship grows and Aryan also manages to verbalize his feelings with Arpita on Imlie’s encouragement. During Arpita and Sundar’s wedding, Imlie discloses the dowry situation and addresses it.

On their way to drop Meeti at the bus stand after the wedding, Imlie meets Jyoti who happened to be a college friend of Aryan. Jyoti harbors feelings toward Aryan and shows an obsessive behavior inside but a sweet demeanor outside to the people. After getting know her friendship with Aryan, Imlie invites her to Rathore’s mansion. Jyoti also tries to come between Aryan and Imlie. She tries to kill her former husband’s sister figure Nargiz whom she used to take divorce from him because Nargiz was planning to alert Aryan about Jyoti’s intentions and Imlie witnessed the accident. Devastated, Imlie goes home and seeks comfort from Aryan. He assures her that he’ll take care of Nargiz. Next, they both face a fire in their bedroom – a fire set by Neela to harm Imlie. Aryan reaches their room and takes the necessary actions to save Imlie.

After being contacted by Madhav, Imlie tries to leave the house to collect some important evidence needed for an article, they both have been working on. Worried for Imlie as she is planning to leave without getting any rest, Aryan follows her and gets shot by a goon. At the hospital where everyone was trying to find blood for Aryan, Neela, Preeta, and Jyoti cooperate to remove Imlie from Aryan’s life.

When Aryan gains consciousness he immediately seeks Imlie and learns that she left the hospital due to Narmada’s ill behaviour. Ignoring the protests of Narmada, he goes after Imlie and finds her having a breakdown as she believes that she is not a suitable partner for him. He however manages to console her and they return home. Narmada demands Imlie to quit her job and Aryan speaks against it. Arpita encourages Aryan to share his true feelings with Imlie as it will give her the courage to deal with Narmada’s change of behaviour better. With the help of Jyo, Aryan takes Imlie on a date – to a place where he built a treehouse for her.

Before confessing their feelings, Imlie falls from the treehouse as Jyo secretly cuts a pillar to stop them from sharing their feelings. Aryan tries to regain Imlie’s consciousness and gets scared as she doesn’t respond to his emergency treatments which leads him to share his feelings and Imlie regains her consciousness. As it starts raining they find a secluded place where Imlie reciprocates his feelings and they spend the night there. The next morning they return to their place to be questioned by Narmada.

Later, Imlie becomes pregnant. After a lot of turn of events – the circumstances created by Jyoti to separate Imlie and Aryan, Imlie manages to expose Jyoti’s misdeeds in front of Aryan with the help of Harinder-Jyoti’s ex-husband, Sundar and Arpita. Aryan breaks down in guilt for getting influenced by Jyoti. Both of them share an emotional moment and make promises for their future.

On their way back home, they see a baby left alone. They take the baby home and try to find her parents. Imlie starts calling her Gudiya as she unknowingly relates her life to the baby. Malini enters as a successful Dean in a college and reveals to be holding grudges against the people who gave similar backgrounds as Imlie. Neela, who is against keeping Gudiya in the house, arranges for some ladies to disguise themselves as NGO members and take Gudiya away. Imlie and Aryan get to know it and manage to save Gudiya and the other babies taken from their parents and get all the men arrested. Malini enters the Rathore mansion and reveals that Gudiya is her and Aditya’s daughter who was missing. She accuses Imlie of stealing her baby and trying to get the things that belong to her like in the past.

Later Malini reveals to Imlie that she doesn’t care about her daughter and kept her to use as a pawn to take revenge on Imlie. Imlie with Aryan plans to bring Malini’s truth and get custody. Imlie invites Malini and Anu for puja at Rathore’s to execute their plan. Malini however uses the invitation in her favour and manages to harm Imlie in front of Aryan’s eyes. Due to that, Imlie suffers from a miscarriage. Aryan and Imlie both blame each other for their loss and part ways. Imlie leaves the house and finds Gudiya in a temple where Malini has abandoned her. Imlie takes Gudiya to Pagdandiya and lives with her mom.

Five Years Later
Aryan is still grieving for losing their baby and harbours hatred toward Imlie and lives in a self-destructive way. Imlie lives in Pagdandiya with Cheeni and is shown to be fighting against social injustice as an Independent journalist. She is also shown mourning their loss under the facade of being resilient to the incident 5 years back.

Malini who happens to own significant shares of Bhaskar Times and publishes an article against Pagdandiya by taking advantage of Aryan’s disinterest. This harms the newspaper’s reputation as Imlie telecasts a program defending the villagers unaware of the company which defamed them. Angry, Aryan reaches Pagdandiya to solve the matter where he ended up saving Cheeni who got kidnapped. They immediately form a bond unknowing of their connection.

Meet in love Zee world: Meet is an independent woman who defies society’s perception of feminine beauty. She meets Ahlawat and a love-hate relationship ensues between them, they get married through a stroke of faith and the couple has to find a way to navigate love and family.

The series revolves around Meet Hooda, a spirited young tomboyish girl from Haryana who is the sole breadwinner of her family but also breaks societal rule books of gender roles by serving as a delivery agent. Her father was a police officer who sacrificed his life while in service, due to which Meet takes up all the responsibilities of her house and gives up her ambition of becoming an officer like her father. Her grandmother blames her for the death of her twin brother who died in the womb, subjecting her to emotional abuse her entire life while reminding her that she can never be like a boy.

Meet Hooda meets Meet Ahlawat. Though they initially are at loggerheads, they soon become friends. Ahlawat falls in love with Hooda’s sister Manushi after hearing her sing. In reality, it was Meet who was singing while Manushi was just lip-syncing the song. Meet Ahlawat’s wedding is arranged with Manushi. Ahlawat breaks his friendship with Meet and starts hating her because of a misunderstanding.

On the wedding day, Manushi runs away and marries Kunal leading Meet Hooda to marry Meet Ahlawat. No one’s happy about this especially Meet Ahlawat’s mom, his sister, and himself. Many arguments and silly fights take place between Meet Hooda and Meet Ahlawat. Though Meet Hooda tries her best to prove herself at every step, Meet Ahlawat is unwilling to accept her as his wife.

Ahlawat wants to meet Manushi and loses his cool. On his quest to find Manushi at Meet Hooda’s house, he argues with her and leaves, telling her to never step into his house again. On the way back to his house, he is beaten up by goons, and Meet Hooda comes to his rescue and saves his life. She donates blood for him and stays up all night taking care of him at the hospital.

Meet Ahlawat regrets his words and starts warming up to her. Meet Hooda takes care of her husband with great care, not leaving his side for a moment. Meet tries to get Manushi to face Ahlawat. However, she instead meets her mother, who makes her promise never to tell her in-laws that Manushi is back at home. Ahlawat throws Meet a surprise birthday party. However, Babita enters the scene and harshly taunts and scolds Meet Hooda for making Ahlawat overexert when he is injured and unwell. Meet Ahlawat stands up for his wife, explaining to his mother that he was the one who threw her a surprise party. He confronts his family members on the way they have treated and perceived Meet H. Finally, Babita understands her son’s point of view and accepts Meet as her daughter-in-law.

Masoom finds out that Manushi is at Meet’s house. She blackmails Meet Hooda, threatening to reveal this information to the rest of the family if she doesn’t divorce her husband. Meet acts aloof with Meet Ahlawat. Meet Ahlawat misses her and demands an answer from her for avoiding him. Later, Meet throws the divorce papers into a bonfire and tells Masoom that she won’t divorce her husband. She apologizes to Meet Ahlawat for not taking care of him without revealing the real reason, and she is forgiven. Meet Ahlawat is drugged, and he confesses his love to Meet Hooda, imagining her to be Manushi. Though Meet is broken by this, she dresses up as Manushi in an attempt to get him out of his drunken state, so that he can attend an important business meeting that he has been working towards for years.

Her plan works, and he is able to attend his meeting and performs well. Meet Ahlawat initially believes that it was Deep who had helped him out, but Deep clarifies and says that it was Meet Hooda who had helped him fulfill his dream. Meet earnestly apologizes to his wife, regretful of all of the pain she had to go through and in awe of how much she cares of him despite all of the hatred and negativity around her. He wishes to start a new life with her.

At Meet Hooda’s house, however, Manushi has convinced her mother and grandmother for her and Parth (actually Kunal) to get married by acting like she is pregnant. Masoom brings Babita, Ragini, and Meet Hooda to Hooda’s house on the pretext of giving Meet a surprise. In the midst of this, Meet’s grandmother finally accepts her as her granddaughter, finally seeing her for the good person she is and seeing Manushi’s real evil side. Meet Ahlawat comes to the Hooda house worried, revealing that the police had come to the Ahlawat house with the news that the goons that had beat him up were out of jail. He comes so that Meet can go back home under his protection. Masoom stops them from leaving, revealing that Manushi is at home with the hope that Meet leaves his wife. However, Meet takes his wife’s side, citing that if she had taken a decision to keep this secret, then she would have done it only for everyone’s happiness.

Kunal wants to steal Manushi’s jewelry, going as far as pretending to get kidnapped and demanding the jewelry as ransom, but his plans fail. Meet Hooda studies in the middle of the night in the kitchen so as not to disturb anybody. Isha acts strange around the family. It is soon revealed that she is being blackmailed by a few boys, who took photos of her in compromising positions after drugging her. The combination of the above two situations causes Meet Ahlawat to be convinced that Meet Hooda has fallen in love with another man, and decides to support her, even though he is clearly hurt. Meet Hooda finds out about Isha’s situation and goes with her to get the photos deleted and the boys arrested. Meet Ahlawat comes and both of them beat up the boys together. Meet Ahlawat’s misunderstanding is finally cleared.

The Ahlawats decide to send Meet and Meet for their honeymoon in a luxurious resort in Rajasthan. Manushi finally finds out about Kunal’s true nature and intentions, who runs away with her jewelry and vows to get back Meet Ahlawat after seeing their lavish lifestyle. Manushi tries to sabotage Meet and Meet’s relationship during the honeymoon, but all her efforts go in vain. Though Meet Ahlawat is initially shaken when he sees Manushi, with Meet’s constant support and trust, he is able to control himself more. Meet and Meet become closer through this trip and their relationship becomes stronger.

Meet Hooda helps a bearded man known as ‘Bhula Baba’, who is soon revealed to be Tejvardhan Ahlawat, Meet Ahlawat’s older brother who has been missing for 3 years. He suffers from memory loss and does not remember anything. However, he shows recognition with names like Meet and Sunaina (his wife). He starts to consider Meet Hooda as his friend. A day before leaving from Rajasthan, Meet Ahlawat sees photographs with Bhula Baba in them and recognizes Tej. Tej and Meet Ahlawat reunite. However, back in Chandigarh, Rajvardhan forces Sunaina to remarry as he doesn’t want her to spend her whole life waiting for someone who might not ever come back. By the time Meet tells Rajvardhan about finding Tej, Sunaina’s marriage with Ravi has already happened.

Rajvardhan informs the rest of the family members that Meet and Meet are returning from Chandigarh with Tej. They all wait eagerly for them to arrive. However, when they come, Meet reveals that they lost Tej in the market. Babita blames Meet Hooda for being careless. Manushi brings back Tej Ahlawat as a part of her plan to return to Meet Ahlawat’s life, it was she who had caused them to separate from Tej in the market. Manushi is allowed to stay at the Ahlawat house for a day in gratitude for bringing back Tej. However, she plans to stay there till she has gotten back Meet Ahlawat.

So she harasses Tej Ahlawat, who injures her in defense. Meet Hooda, not aware of her sister’s evil intentions, requests Meet Ahlawat to let Manushi stay in the house till she recovers. Anubha finds out that Manushi is at the Ahlawat house, becomes extremely mad, and drags her out of the house. Manushi pretends to attempt suicide by drinking bleach. This allows her to stay for long as the doctor mentions that she should not be stressed. Manushi attempts to get closer to Meet Ahlawat, and he is shaken and confused.

Sai Joshi, a young and outspoken girl from Gadchiroli aspires to become a doctor and dreams to study MBBS at the Nagpur Medical College. In Nagpur, Virat Chavan becomes an IPS officer and is posted to Gadchiroli.

Sai stays with her father Inspector Kamal Joshi in Gadchiroli and her world revolves around him. The local politician’s son and goon, Jagtap, falls in one-sided love with Sai and harras her. Jagtap tries to kill Kamal to get married to Sai. On topping the 12th exam in Maharashtra state, Sai request her father to take VRS and move to Nagpur.

Virat joins his posting in Gadchiroli. Virat’s car splash mud on Sai which makes Sai dislike him. Further, Virat asks Kamal to postpone his VRS on stage. Kamal accepts his senior officer Virat’s order which makes Sai angry. Virat and Pakhi get infatuated with each other but the Chavan family selects Pakhi as Samrat’s bride. Pakhi stays with Virat gets married to Samrat and Virat promises Pakhi to not give her place to any girl. Pakhi confesses love to Virat which Samrat overhears and leaves for duty, heartbroken.

Kamal Joshi takes the bullet to save Virat from the Jagtap shoot and Sai sees it. On his deathbed, Kamal asks Virat to take care of Sai. Sai is devastated after her father died and tries to commit suicide in her emotional state. After Kamal’s funeral, villagers pressurize Virat to marry orphaned Sai. Sai requested Virat to decline the marriage proposal and remind him about Pakhi. Virat proposes deal marriage and unwillingly, Sai gets agrees to it. During the marriage, Virat keeps reminding Sai to not expect any husband’s love and support from him as he already made a promise to Pakhi.

Sai also makes it clear that She will leave marriage once she completes MBBS. Pakhi gets shattered seeing Virat-Sai marriage but Virat assures her by disclosing deal marriage details. Chavan’s family refuses to accept Virat-Sai marriage as Sai is not from the upper class, Shahānnau Kule Maratha, like Pakhi. Chavan’s family humiliates Sai by name-calling Junglee, defaming Kamal’s death and his upbringing but Sai give a befitting reply to them.

Virat faces false accusations by Vithal Mane and gets suspended from their job. Virat blames Sai for it. Further, Virat blames Sai to snatch away his love Pakhi and claims it ruins his life. Sai goes to the police department and saves Virat’s job.

Sai comes to know Devyani-Pulkit’s past relationship and decides to track down the truth. Sai find a chance when Pulkit invites for lunch. Virat stops Sai physically and orders them to close the house’s main door and not open it till he locks Sai in a room. But Sai does not surrender and goes to meet Pulkit. Further, Virat stops Sai to have food and claims to enjoy his money when Sai returns home. Sai decided to leave the house but Ashwini makes Virat realize his mistake and Virat apologizes to Sai and stops her.

Sai expose the Chavans’ act of making Devyani mentally ill, Devyani-Pulkit separation, and putting newly born Harinee in an orphanage. Sai plans to reunite Devyani and Pulkit by getting them remarried. Pakhi writes a fake letter to stop Sai and Virat agrees with Pakhi. Pulkit gets kidnapped by the Chavan family’s goon. Later, Sai and Pulkit show proof to prove Pulkit’s innocence but Virat refuses to believe. Virat throws Sai from the house at midnight and stops Ashwini to give food to Sai. Pakhi and Virat call Sai a gold digger and mentally challenged person. Sai arrange for evidence and brought it in front of Virat. Then, Sai goes back to Gadchiroli. Virat does not take any action against his family’s crimes and forgives them. Virat apologizes to Sai and ask her to return but she refuses. Virat goes on a mission and gets shot. An emotional Sai rushes to the hospital and takes good care of Virat. Both reconcile and Sai return home.

The next day, Sai reads a letter from Rajeev, who was Shivani’s ex-fiancée. Sai decides to meet him without Shivani’s knowledge. Rajeev tells Sai about feeling guilty after leaving Shivani and tells her that he only loved Shivani but Virat sees him and puts him in jail and accuses him of mental abuse towards Shivani. Virat warns Sai to not meet Rajeev again as he left Shivani on the wedding day and Shivani cut her hand. Shivani learns that Sai met Rajeev and confronts her. Sai reveals that Rajeev was feeling guilty after leaving her and wants to patch up. Both of them visit Rajeev in jail. Shivani forgives Rajeev and starts afresh. Sai convinces Virat to get Rajeev and Shivani married but he refuses to do so.

On Ram Navami, Virat organizes a function near the temple and invites the entire family. The entire family sees Rajeev with Shivani and takes her away, but the entire place catches on fire and Rajeev saves Shivani by risking his life and falls unconscious. After seeing Rajeev’s love for Shivani, the entire family arranges for Rajeev and Shivani’s wedding. Sai finishes her last exam and Virat breaks all ties with her. On Rajeev and Shivani’s sangeet, Rajeev gets a heart attack but Sai saves him and takes him to the hospital. Sai tells Virat to forgive his family and she takes the blame upon herself for doubting him and says that his family isn’t at fault. She cries remembering her mistake and asks him not to go away from his family. Later on the same night, Virat forgives his family.

The next day, Sai goes missing and Virat tries to find her everywhere but in vain. Virat regrets not telling his feelings to her. Later, Sai and Virat confess their love to each other in front of the entire family and guests. The entire family is happy except Pakhi, Bhavani, Sonali, and Omkar. Later They announce that Both Rajeev-Shivani and Virat-Sai will be married on the same day and same time. Bhavani stops Sai and Virat during the pheras and gives 2 options to Sai. Either leave the house and become a doctor or leave the dream of becoming a doctor and become the daughter-in-law of this house. Virat chooses the 2nd option for Sai and both get married.
