2020 MSCE Results :

Now the question is how to check Malawi 2020 MSCE Results online, through MANEB official website (www.maneb.edu.mw) you can get MSCE results list by district wise. To get the results to follow the instruction below.

  • Step One: Open your Laptop or Mobile Internet Browser.
  • Step Two: In the address bar type “www.maneb.edu.mw
  • Step Three: Just below of MANABE logo click on “Examination Results”
  • Step Four: A new window will open click on “Malawi National Examinations Board”
  • Step Five: Here you will find the list of districts name. Click on the district where you sat for the exam.
  • Step Six: A file will open/download from where search your name/number to know whether you PASS or FAILED.

Maneb MSCE Results Press Release

  1. The Ministry of’ Education, Science and Technology have released the 2020 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) Examination results.
  2. Out of 136, 247 candidates who sat for this examination, in at least six subjects including English, 84, 009 candidates have qualified for the award of the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE). This represents a 61.66% pass rate.
  3. Out of’ the 62,441 female candidates who sat for the examination in at least six subjects including English, 34, 837 candidates have qualified for the award of MSCE, representing a 55.79% pass rate.
  4. Out of the 73,806 male candidates who sat for the examination in at least six subjects including English, 49, 172 candidates have qualified for the award of the MSCE, representing 66.62% pass rate.
  5. Out of the 80, 318 internal candidates who sat for the examination in at least six subjects including English, 51,770 candidates have qualified for the award of MSCE, representing a 64.46% pass rate.
  6. Out of the 22,937 external candidates who sat for the examination in at least six subjects including English, 13,327 candidates have qualified for the award of MSCE, representing a 58.10% pass rate.
  1. Out of 32, 992 Open candidates who sat for the examination in at least six subjects including English, 18,912 candidates have qualified for the award of MSCE, representing a 57.32% pass rate.
  2. There were 415 Special Needs Education candidates who sat for the examinations and 227 have passed the examination representing 54.70% pass rate. In this category 214 were females and 107 have passed representing 50.00% pass rate while 207 were males and 120 have passed representing 59.70% pass rate.
  3. Candidates have been disqualified in the examination for contravening MANEB regulations. The letter ‘X’ appears against the names of such candidates on the pass/fail list.

10.1979 candidates have their results withheld pending investigations. The letter ‘W’ appears against the names of such candidates on the pass/fail list.

11 .All those who wrote the examination without following proper entry procedures have not been graded and their results do not appear on the pass/fail list.

1 2.All candidates are informed that their results are available in all Education Division Offices, District Education Offices and in all Public and Grant- Aided Secondary Schools.

1 3.All queries about the MSCE results must be routed to MANEB through the Head Teachers
at schools where candidates wrote their examinations. MANEB will not entertain queries about the results made directly to the Board by candidates or any other individual.

  1. All queries should reach MANEB by November 2020. After this date, no
    further queries will be entertained.
