Eligibility:
- Fellows and members of the Royal College of Surgeons are eligible for the award.
- Applicants with a good academic standing will be considered.
- Candidates will normally be in training grade appointments.
- Senior candidates may be considered at the discretion of the committee.
- Applicants of Ethicon Foundation Fund Travel Grants who want to upgrade a specialty skill or experience that may not be available in their home country are welcome to apply.
- Applicants are required to obtain prior approval for the visit from the concerned training authority in the country of application.
- UK trainees must provide confirmation/evidence of prospective approval from the GMC.
