LNAT helps universities in making fairer choices from the several highly qualified candidates who want to join their UG Law Courses. LNAT does not test your knowledge of law or any other subject. Instead, LNAT helps universities in assessing your aptitude for the skills needed to study law.
The content of LNAT is managed by the members of the LNAT Consortium. LNAT is administered by Pearson VUE, under contract to LNAT. Important Dates for Britain LNAT
You can take part in the LNAT Test on any day that there’s an appointment slot free at the test center you’ve chosen. The earlier you book, the more chance you have to get an appointment on the day of your choice.
- August: UCAS registration opening date. LNAT registration beginning date.
- 1 September: LNAT testing starting date
- Mid-September: Submission of UCAS Application
Deadlines for Oxford Candidates:
You must meet the below-mentioned deadlines so as to guarantee that your application to Oxford will be considered.
- October: Register & book your LNAT test slot
- October: Submit your UCAS form
- October: Sit the LNAT on or before this date

- January: Register & book your LNAT test slot

How to Register Online for Britain LNAT 2023:
Setting Up Account
You don’t need to have finished your UCAS application before applying for the LNAT or taking the test.
UCAS number
You don’t need your UCAS personal identifier no. to register. You can enter 0000000000 (10 zeros) instead. However, your real number is required for the universities to link your LNAT score to your UCAS application.
Note: Candidates not applying to any UK university must enter ‘0000000000’
Who can register?
You can apply for LNAT yourself, or you can take the help of your parent or guardian or teacher to register for you. Remember though, that it is only your responsibility to make sure that you’re registered for LNAT.
Your email address
It’s very important that the candidates use their correct email id when registering since that Email ID will be used in further process. If you change your Email Id after registering without informing Pearson VUE, your results will obviously be sent to your original (previous) email id.
Booking Your Test
To book an LNAT test, log in to your account using your username & password and then use the navigation menu at the top left of the screen so as to make a booking.
Bookings by schools and colleges
If your LNAT test booking is being made by your college or school, remember that it’s your responsibility to make sure that your booking is timely and accurate. No exceptions will be made by the official authority in the event of mistakes with bookings or registrations made by a third party.
