Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing is known for assisting Oxford University in the administration and conduction of the MAT (Mathematics Admissions Test) Exam 2023. MAT is a paper-based test. The duration of this exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is a subject-specific admissions exam.

Britain MAT 

It is organized by Oxford University to provide admissions to applicants in the University of Oxford’s UG (Undergraduate degree) courses in Computer Science, Mathematics & their joint degrees. MAT will be taking place at the end of October (Wednesday) usually at 09.00 GMT. How to Register for Britain MAT Exam:

You can’t register yourself for the MAT Exam – you must be registered by a centre. One can take the MAT Exam at any centre which administers the MAT Exam. There are two cases in which you can register for the exam of MAT. Those two cases are mentioned below.

  • If you’re currently studying in a school or college: You can normally appear for the MAT test at your school. If your school is not registered as a centre, then your school can apply to become a test centre – even if you’re the only person wanting to appear in the MAT Exam. We advise that you take this MAT test at your school, if possible, rather than using an alternative authorized test centre. Those alternative test centres may charge an administration fee.
  • If you’re not attending school or college: You may be able to appear for this test at your old school.

End of October Test date
November Shortlisting decisions sent to applicants
January Final decisions sent to applicants. After this, you can request feedback on admissions (including your MAT score) from the college you applied to.
