Sizwe Dhlomo is one of the most renowned TV presenters and radio personalities. Although he studied computer programming, he gave up a lucrative career in the field to pursue his passion.

The charming TV presenter landed a deal with MTV Base as a VJ after winning a talent search contest in 2005.

Later, he was the VJ at the launch of MTV Base’s World Chart Express. Being part of the media industry exposed Sizwe Dhlomo to a wealth of knowledge that he used to establish himself.

His urge for success came to fruition when he was chosen to be the Digital Host at the 16th edition of the South African Music Awards held in Sun City, in 2010.

This question, however, didn’t sit well with Sizwe, and he told that fan that he was unsuitable to be a farmer as he didn’t have any idea of what he wanted or how to go about the same.

Sizwe and Vusi have had a long-running beef concerning the kind of advice they share on social media.

Sizwe took aim at Vusi after he suggested that interviewees should talk to the companies that someone once worked for as opposed to the individual

In one such tweet, Vusi posted: “Leadership Tip: Don’t interview people. Interview the people and companies they used to work with and for. People will present a picture of themselves. The picture they want you to believe. Rather, talk to people that have actually experienced the person.”

Sizwe responded: Lol! Mans said interview the company like managers have hours to spare for someone who’s trying to poach their employees.”

He further posted: “Interviews are not about testimonials, that’s what references and resumes are for. Interviews are to ascertain personalities and social characteristics, then determine whether or not they are a fit within your organisation.”

However, this was not the only controversy that Sizwe Dhlomo was part of; there was a lot of drama surrounding a few quotes that the media mogul had made.

Motivational speaker Vusi Thembekayo of stealing a tweet from him and posting it on his Twitter account and retweeting it like it is his own.

In a rage, Sizwe confronted Vusi, saying he stole his thoughts. While the whole event attracted a lot of attention on Twitter, the hype seemed to have died down before resurfacing on a watch pictures posted by Vusi Thembekayo.

Sizwe Dhlomo retweeted the photo claiming that the watch was fake. After a heated argument, it was clear that there was more to the issue and the tweet was just a catalyst.

Sizwe Dhlomo also said that although they were once friends, their friendship was over the day Vusi chose to steal his quotes.

Sizwe Dhlomo had an accident in June 2019 in Witkopen and Cedar, Johannesburg. The details of the crash were published on Sizwe Dhlomo’s Twitter account.

As per the post, Sizwe Dhlomo’s accident was caused by a bakkie colliding with two vehicles, one being Sizwe Dhlomo’s car after brake failure.
