This scholarship is awarded to a University of Melbourne Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) student who has completed a substantial research project that significantly aligns to the discipline of pure or applied mathematics.
Eligibility for the Professor Wilson Prize:
- Applicants must be conferred a Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) research training program.
- As part of the masters program, candidates should be completed a substantial research project that significantly aligns to the discipline of pure or applied mathematics.
- Students enrolled at the university for more than 7 years, as of the 1st of January in any given year, will not be considered for this award.
Selection criteria:
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:
- Academic merit
