UNEB
UNEB was established by an Act of Parliament in 1983, Cap 137 Laws of Uganda. One of the most important functions of UNEB is to conduct primary, secondary, and such other examinations within Uganda as it may consider desirable in the public interest. To help the candidates UNEB publishes past examination papers. From now onward UNEB will be responsible for school examinations at primary and secondary school levels as follows:
- Primary Leaving Examination (PLE)
- Uganda Certificate of Education Examination (UCE)
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (UACE)
UNEB Results 2020
To access your UNEB examination results on a mobile phone: Type “UACE,” leave a <<space>>, then #type your index number and send to 6600
There should be #no <<space>>s in the index number. For example, UACE U2769/507

NB: Each SMS sent to 6600 is charged Shs 500, the service will be available on MTN, ZAIN and UTL networks.
UNEB Results GO USSD and SMS
- Candidates who sat PLE, UCE and UACE can now view their results instantly using the USSD and SMS platforms on their mobile handsets. This service is available on all networks and can be accessed anytime using USSD *600#.
- UNEB is mandated to equate foreign qualifications at Primary School and Secondary School levels to UNEB standards at Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE – Ordinary level) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE – Advanced level). The following documents bundle includes procedures and important documentation necessary for the equating process.
