How much does a first aid course cost in South Africa?
There are basic first aid courses, short courses (like CPR and choking), international courses and skills courses like Basic Suturing and IV Therapy. Cost: First Aid level 1 course (2 days) is from R650 a person (if you’re 15 or more people) to R2750 if it’s just you (they come to you)

What is the highest level of first aid in South Africa?

Basic First Aid Level 3

The Basic First Aid Level Three training course is the most advanced class available on offer.

How much does a level 1 first aid course cost?
First Aid NQF Level 1: R845.
These courses generally take about one day, usually around 6 or 7 hours of tuition with both theoretical and practical elements. Following such a course, a first aider will be trained to deal with major emergency situations, such as giving CPR and dealing with people who are choking or bleeding severely

How long are the certificates valid for? The Basic First Aid, CPR and Choking, presentation, skills, and BLS for HCP and HS courses are valid for 2 years. The First aid Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses are valid for 3 years.

What is Level 4 first aid?
The aim of Level 4 First Aid is to enable qualified staff to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylaxis treatment for emergencies in infants, children and adults
