Indian Coast Guard Navik Eligibility criteria

Candidates need to clear the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the Indian Coast Guard Navik exam.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 with maths and physics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.

Relaxation

  • 5% relaxation for SC/ST category and students who have outstanding achievements in sports events.

Age:

The candidates between the age of 18-22 are only eligible for the Indian Coast Guard Navik exam. The official details were released that candidates must be born between August 1, 1998, and July 31, 2002.

Relaxation

  • Candidates from SC/ST and OBC category will get an age relaxation of 5 and 3 years.

The candidates applying for the Indian Coast Guard Navik exam have to fill the online application form. The application process is-

  • The candidates need to visit the official site of Indian Coast Guard, joinindiancoastguard.gov.in and go to the ‘opportunities’ section, and choose the option
  • The applicants need to select the option of the Recruitment of Navik (10+2 Entry).
  • They can then select the name of the post they want to apply for, which is Navik General Duty.
  • Then click on the ‘I Agree’ button and you will be diverted to the next page that is the ‘Online Application’ page
  • The applicants need to fill the application form, with all correct details carefully as all the details are compulsory
  • The applicants need to upload a scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

The selection for the Indian Coast Guard Navik examination is done in three stages that have to be cleared by the students. The first stage for the Indian Coast Guard Navik Exam is the written round, which will be next taken towards the second stage of the round that is physical fitness examination, and then the candidates need to undergo the medical examination.

Exam pattern for written examination

Following is the Indian Coast Guard Exam Pattern for first stage written examination:

Exam Pattern for physical fitness examination

The Candidates should come in comfortable clothes during the Physical Fitness Testsuch as Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser, etc. to avoid exhaustion and be comfortable

  • The candidates qualified in the written examination of Indian Coast Guard Navik will be eligible for a Physical Fitness Test that is conducted for two consecutive days.
  • Physically challenged applicants are not allowed to appear in the Physical fitness examination exam as per rule and regulations
  • Physical FitnessTest will have the following parameters for selection-
    • 6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes
    • 20 Squat ups
    • 10 Push-ups

This is the last final stage for the Indian Coast guard Navik examination, it is based totally on your medical examination.
