In November 2020, Prestige Entertainment, Eureka Productions, and Fox revealed that actress Jane Krakowski would host a new primetime version of Name That Tune, which would start on January 6, 2021.
Randy Jackson, who is known for being the bandleader on American Idol, would be in charge of the band.
The first season, which had twelve episodes, was shot in Australia with American candidates. On March 29, 2022, the second season of the revival started.
It was filmed in Ireland, and four of the eight shows had celebrity contestants. On January 11, 2023, the first episode of the third season of the reboot, called Celebrity Name That Tune, aired. Name That Tune Season 4 was premiered on 19 September 2024.

Celebrity Name That Tune, the first show of the third season of the reboot, started airing on January 11, 2023. Season 4 of Name That Tune began on September 19, 2024.

Jane Krakowski grew up in Parsippany, New Jersey, with parents who were a theatre director and a chemical engineer. So it’s no surprise that she is a Tony Award winner and a three-time Emmy Award nominee.
Krakowski brings to mind an old-fashioned way of acting: actors whose work on the stage shows up in their TV, movie, radio, and song roles.

Jackson is best known for being the judge on American Idol who has been on the show the longest. He is also the executive director for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

Jackson was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on June 23, 1956. His parents, Julia, a housewife, and Herman Jackson, a plant manager, raised him. In 1979, he got a Bachelor of Arts in singing from Southern University.
America’s Best Dance Crew, an American group dance competition and reality TV show, was made by Jackson. It started on MTV on February 7, 2008, and ended in 2012 because it wasn’t getting as many viewers as it used to.
