Basic Information:
American Song Contest is a music competition reality show. This show was created by the European Broadcasting Union based on Eurovision Song Contest. ASC is produced by the Propagate Content and Universal Television Alternative Studio. The first season was completed on February 21, 2022.
Contestants and Categories:
The ASC Season 2 will feature 50 states, 5 U.S. territories, and Washington, D.C. competing in 8 categories: Solo Artist, Duo or Group, Acoustic, Electronic, Country, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop/R&B. Each artist will perform an original song. In addition, each state/territory/district will be represented by a representative chosen by their state government.
Entry Requirements:

Voting Process:
During the live shows, viewers can vote for the artist they want to win by visiting the website or by using the ASC app. In addition, viewers can use their voice-activated devices such as Amazon’s Alexa, Google Home Products, and Apple’s Siri. In the app, videos and lyrics of the song will be available for the viewers to vote. Votes will be counted as follows: 60% from the viewers’ online votes and 40% from the artists’ fan bases through the ASC app. The 5 categories (solo artist, duo or group, acoustic, electronic, and country) will be eliminated one by one. The last remaining artist in each category will be the winner of that category.
