Marang informs Itumeleng about Ashwin’s behaviour, but later turns the focus on their relationship and challenges the Kgosi. Modise gives Blessing advice and he makes a brave decision about Zintle. Marang is shaken by Mama Rose’s serious warning to delay the wedding.

Karel is pleased that Sarah has made contact and Angie decides to babysit Amber so she can investigate Charles’ intentions.

The community gathers to support the Van Reenen family and everyone is concerned about Karel. Itumeleng is caught between the events around Nathi, and being a leader for the community. Zintle is not taking the death of a friend well and calls on a trustworthy friend for comfort.

Jack and Angie struggle to get hold of Tristan. Will Jack and Tristan eventually bury their swords?

The Van Reneen’s prepare for a funeral while the arrival of Kate and Amber unlocks more pain for everybody. The tension between Kate and Angie seems apparent and they realise that they are suffering from the same feelings of guilt.

Itumeleng reveals to Diksie that he is relieving Marang of her duties. A new ‘permanent’ guest arrives at the lodge, but Diksie is not impressed and the battle lines are drawn. Ashwin’s luck in finding Amita changes when a stranger tells him of an abandoned car in the bush.

The funeral begins and everyone in the community sympathises and mourns with the Van Reenen family. Despite the royal wedding taking place tomorrow, Mogorosi and the council stand firm that the wedding will not have their blessing.

Ashwin races against time to save his own life. Angie and Kate confront each other about their affairs and Kate shares a secret with Angie. It’s the day of the wedding and Nathi wishes things were different. He makes a shocking discovery at the river and is blindsided into tricking an unsuspecting victim.

The elders arrive at Go-Tladi to protest against the wedding and Itumeleng makes a bold decision, but a shocking chain of events threatens to ruin the day. Will Itumeleng and Marang finally live happily ever after?
