Ntobeko grew up in the city of Durban in KwaZulu Natal Province. He developed interest in music and started singing at the age of seven. This is when he realized that he was a good performer and he started incorporating acting in his art performance.

He attended his primary and secondary school in the local schools of KZN province. After obtaining his basic education together with matric he enrolled at the University of Cape Town. There he studied for four years to obtain Bachelor of Commerce in economics and finance and also post-graduate honours in Entrepreneurship.

Before he was known as Ntokozo from Gomora, Ntobeko did only music. His kind of music genre is RNB. He announced in 2021 that he was going to release a single which he was planning to release at the end of that year. The single was all about relationship and the heartbreak in it.
He was also planning to release an EP or a mixtape before the end of the year of 2021. His well known songs include IDC, Nothing New, All Night and What You Need. These songs were released via YouTube, Sound Cloud and other well known online music platforms.

In his early days as a music performer, Ntobeko realized he had passion for acting. So, he joined acting and television presenting.
