ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP

MTN Learnerships are generally available in the following career fields:

• Customer Service
• Call Centre Screener
• Call Centre Agent
• Information Technology
• Human Resources
• Marketing
• Sales
• Accountant

MTN Learnerships usually take place over a period of 12 months. Candidates will receive a stipend or allowance each month, however, they must cover the cost of their own transport, meals and accommodation.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview, and may also be required to take part in various assessments. Background checks may also be conducted to ensure that applicants have a clear criminal and record record.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Candidates interested in applying for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria – failure to meet ALL of these requirements will result in your application being denied.

• South African citizen
• Completed Matric
• Computer literate
• Good command of the English language (able to read, write and speak English)
• Not currently employed
• Able to work well individually and within a team
• Willing to work overtime on weekends or night shift (if required)
• Good attention to detail
• Good time management skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Presentable
• Clear criminal record
