Karabo Ricks was born on the 3rd of September 1989 in Johannesburg Gauteng province. Nothing much is known about the Childhood experience. But Karabo wrote Matric in 2006 at Thutolore Secondary school. She did the following subjects, Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting, Life Sciences, English, and South Sotho. From May 2010 to October 2012 she worked in Soweto as a Multimedia Operator, Sales manager, and Administrator at Orlando Towers. She was providing a memorable recreation/ extreme sports experience for Orlando Towers clients by capturing the experience on video. She also was a Production Assistant at Ochre TV in Johannesburg from February to August 2015. She is currently a featured actress on etvScandal since August 2015. She is currently engaged to Sehlome Masekela since 31 December 2016. According to Karabo Instagram, she has a daughter named Akiah. She also has a brother by the name of Masego Maselwane. Karabo has 3 cousins namely Maps Mamakgothalo Dire, Gift and Ofentse Mmusi. Her father’s name is Maera Mmusi.
