About Charles Sturt University

Charles Sturt University (CSU) is an Australian multi-campus public university located in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and the Australian Capital Territory. Established in 1989, it was named in honour of Captain Charles Sturt, a British explorer who made expeditions into regional New South Wales and South Australia.

The University has multiple campuses in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Goulburn, Orange, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga and Canberra. The University also facilitates specialist centres in North Parramatta, Manly (Sydney), Wangaratta as well as Regional University Study Centres in Griffith and Parkes. Courses are also delivered in conjunction with Study Group Australia in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (known as CSU Study Centres).

Charles Sturt University International student support scholarship recognises international students whose study plans have been impacted by COVID-19 border closures

Eligibility criteria for the International student support scholarship:

  • Open to all international students (except Australia).
  • International students studying an online mode course (students on online mode due to COVID-19 restrictions are eligible).
  • Applicant will need to accept your offer. He/She may still be required to meet GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) criteria, including financial capacity, and will need to make the appropriate fee deposit to the University to receive a confirmation of enrolment

Value of the scholarship:

The scholarship provides a 20% fees discount for new commencing international students for the duration of their course.
