Close To My Heart with the Indian title, Channe Mereya is an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama television series. The telenovela will be sharing the double bill slot of Lost in love. It premieres on Monday, February 6 at 19h30 and will air in single episodes daily, alongside Lost in Love which reduces to one episode a day, at 19h00.
Close to My Heart tells the story of lovers who are mad about food, but not each other at the beginning.

Ginni Garewal, 24, runs a Dhaba (roadside restaurant) with her chaotic family and she’s desperate for solutions to her family’s problems – and also for love.
Also, Aditya Raj Singh has a dream of becoming one of the world’s most successful hoteliers. He wants meaning in his life and he finds it in Ginni, despite their love/hate relationship.
Plot
The story actually revolves around the love for cooking and is based on the culture of Punjab. Ginni Garewal is a 24-year-old girl who is full of life. She lives in her own little bubble of chaos and is desperate for a resolution to her family problems and the missing feeling of love. Ginni and her family run a Dhaba in Amritsar. On the other hand, Aditya Singh is a 27-year-old guy who aspires to be one of the world’s highest hoteliers. He is on a quest for significance and meaning in his life, and he finds the answers in a girl he despises.
Niyati Fatnani stars as Ginni and former Indian Idol and The Voice host Karan Wahi portrays Aditya.
