Linda has been Lord Sugar’s dependable friend and advisor for more than 20 years. Her area of specialty is fashion, and when she was 15, after dropping out of school, she founded the knitwear company Honeysuckle. At the age of 29, she sold the business for millions of dollars before regaining control of it years later.
She was one of the first women to lead a fashion company that floated on the London Stock Exchange thanks to the multinational fashion brand. She left the fashion sector a few years ago, but she still keeps herself very active with more recent business endeavors.
Karren Brady:
- Karren Rita Brady, Baroness Brady, CBE, a British businesswoman and television personality, was born on April 4, 1969.
- She served as Birmingham City FC’s managing director before becoming vice-chairwoman of West Ham United FC.
- She has served as the UK government’s Small Business Ambassador and is a Conservative member of the House of Lords.
- Brady participated as a celebrity candidate on Comic Relief Does The Apprentice in March 2007 and served as the team captain for the females’ team, which helped to raise more than £750,000 for Comic Relief.
- She was introduced as Sugar’s new assistant in the sixth season of The Apprentice on August 30, 2009, replacing Margaret Mountford.
