Mphono of Best By Far Entertainment accused Motha of breaking the terms of a contract signed in 2016.

He (De Small), teamed up with DJ Maphorisa’s label without his consent. He and Maphorisa worked on an EP together, followed by a 2-month tour.

He explained that two of his biggest singles were released under other labels while he still held contractual obligations to Best By Far Entertainment.

Josiah alleged that he reached out to DJ Maphorisa in an attempt to try and get a clearer understanding of what was going on but was threatened instead.
