Examinations Council of Zambia Grade 9 Results can view on ECZ Web Portal www.exams-council.org.zm also known as Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE). One of the most important functions of the Examinations Council of Zambia to conduct G9 examinations and published the grade 7 results.

ECZ Grade 9 Results Zambia:

• Grade 9 exams are even more important. The better the pass in this exam the better the school that offers the pupil a place in Grade 10. The Grade 9 OR Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE) is an examination which allows grade 9 qualify candidates to proceed to High School.

• To qualify for the grade 9 award of the Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination Certificate, a candidate must satisfy the Minimum Requirements of passes’ in Six Subjects.

Grade 9 Results Zambia Release Date:

• Examinations Council of Zambia generally published Grade 9 ECZ Results 2020 Zambia in the month December. ECZ will award certificates to candidates who pass the G9 Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination conducted by the council.

Grade 9 Exam Subjects:

At this level, there are two groups i.e. Group A (Basic) and Group B (Optional Subjects).

Group A (Basic)

The above subjects are compulsory at this level. All candidates are obliged to write all the subjects to be awarded a JSSLE Certificate by the Examinations Council of Zambia.

GROUP B (Optional Subjects)
In addition to the Basic six (6) Subjects, the candidates are allowed to take any of the following subjects of their choice;

Grade 9 Certificate:

• To qualify for the award of the JSSLE Certificate, a candidate must satisfy the minimum requirements of passes in six (6) subjects.

• The Certificate obtained at this level is a pre-requisite for eligibility to register for examination at Grade 12.

• In other words, the JSSLE Certificate is a requirement for a candidate to undertake registration for Grade 12 examination.

• The candidates use the Grade 9 examination number to present themselves for Grade 12 examination.

How to get ECZ Grade 9 Results Zambia:

• Once the Honourable Minister of General Education announced at a media about the Grade 9 Results 2020 students will be able to check the results. Last year in 2016 for the first time two sets (Grade 7 and Grade 9) of examinations results were being announced jointly on December 23.

USING MOBILE MOBILE PHONE:

Students can check for the 2020 grade 9 results using your Mobile Phone through the following procedure;

• 1. Open the message pad on your Mobile Phone
• 2. Type the Full Examination Number (Leave Space)
• 3. Type Examination Year (Leave Space)
• 4. Type Examination Grade and then
• 5. Send to 8383

The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN and AIRTEL at a cost of Zambian kwacha 4 for each successful transmission.

RESULTS FROM EXAMINATION CENTRES:

• Candidates are, however, advised to collect the Original Results Transcripts from the respective Examination Centres and NOT Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) Secretariat or any Ministry of Education Offices.

ECZ Grade 9 Results Summary

• 2011: Around 276,840 pupils who sat for the examinations in 2011 and 124,331 were qualified the exam.

• 2012 : Around 291,018 candidates sat for the examinations in 2012, only 100,824 candidates have passed.

• 2014 : A total of 169, 375 candidates that sat for the 2014 Grade 9 Examinations and 114, 104 pupils have only managed to obtain statements of results while a total of 16, 396 pupils failed the exams.
