DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Duration: 4 weeks
Contract Type: Full-Time
Electrum is offering an internship opportunity to a hard-working final-year marketing student with a positive attitude. The internship will allow the candidate to have insight into the digital marketing world as they assist in social media, SEO, data capturing and campaigns.
Key Performance Areas of the Programme:
- Assisting in implementing product campaigns
- Improving search rankings by using SEO tools
- Enhancing Electrum’s CRM system
- Partaking in the contribution and creation of external and internal content such as presentations, office posters, social media posts and more
- Giving feedback and analysis pertaining to campaigns
- Creating links for campaigns
- Completing daily ad hoc duties

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Education requirement: must be a 2nd or 3rd year Honours/ Masters student in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Maths, OR a final-year student in Marketing and US or UCT undergraduate
- Must be skilled with Google tools
- Must have experience in MailChimp (advantageous)
- Must have knowledge of SEO (advantageous)
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral)
- Must have multi-tasking abilities
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be a critical thinker
- Must be up-to-date with the latest technologies
- Must have problem-solving skills
- Must be driven by goals and results
- Must be a team-player and hone great communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a fast learner
