DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: throughout South Africa & Midrand and Wadeville, Gauteng
Job functions: Manufacturing

The Packaging Learnership programme by Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa will afford learners the opportunity to enrol for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3. Students will enter into a fixed term contract with CCBSA Manufacturing, during which they will undergo practical and theoretical learning, ending in a national qualification. Students will be able to acquire the following skills:

  • A national qualification registered on the (NQF) Qualification Framework
  • A qualification based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards
  • Unit standards are written to reflect value adding skills required in the workplace and contains the outcomes and assessment criteria
  • Competence is demonstrated in the workplace utilising a variety of assessment methods and using the assessment criteria as the standard of performance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Must have completed Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science (not Mathematical Literacy)
  • Must have a completed a N5 or N6 qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Must be unemployed at the time of selection
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • Must NOT have previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must show great attention to detail
  • Must be able to interact and work well in a team
